Ashley was my makeup artist for my wedding. My original makeup artist canceled very last minute and Ashley was a life saver. She had a makeup trial where we got to know each other and she made me feel like comfortable. She traveled to my venue on my wedding day and arrived early and ready to go. She did multiple people’s makeup and everyone loved it. We did mine last and she did such an amazing job. I wanted to cry as I’ve never felt more beautiful as I did on my wedding day, but of course, I couldn’t as I did not want to ruin her amazing work. I will definitely recommend Ashley for anyone who needs their wedding makeup done.

Apparently it doesn’t matter if you have an appointment. Got there at 1:25 for my 1:30 app, waited an hour after I was told it would be 15-20 minutes and was never called. I asked how much longer was told she will be done soon had a big project, 15 minutes later asked again and was asked well what time do you need to leave? Did she not know it would take more than 1 hour to curl the clients hair when I got there? The right thing to do would have been to tell me the correct time I would be waiting and given me the choice to reschedule.

I have had great service up until recently. I ended up calling the salon back as I realized I was charged $160 for some low lights and a root color. This seemed pretty outrageous to me and thought they had made a simple mistake as I have done full head of highlights for less. I had to call twice to get an answer after I had been told I was going to be receiving a call back. I expressed how I felt and that not only was it strange with such a big price jump but also, I asked for a partial highlight and repeatedly showed what I wanted to the stylist. I left basically a brunette. Paid a lot of money to not look anything like I had asked which was just a touch up of the blonde I already had.

I always have liked Elwell salon but the last two cut’s weren’t anything to brag about, and none could tell my hair was even cut, I had to go back a second time to have it done the way I requested the first time. I won’t be going back there anymore. There are nice stylist, but don’t listen to what u want, they cut like they want to do you’re hair.
