Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueNot professional at all! I went in to have my powder nails removed. Normally at other salons, the top layer is removed by e-filing and then with acetone soaked pads so all the powder is removed. They made me soak my hands in an bowl filled with acetone which took more than 30 min to remove, which I scraped off on my own. I was asked to pay early ($15) so I also tipped $5 hoping the service would be nice. I asked for a regular manicure with clear top coat as well as round nails. My nails were cut short and square and also sharp. The powder base wasn’t removed properly either, leaving my nails uneven. Top coat was placed and then that’s it. There is still dried powder nail on my fingers that wasn’t cleaned off either. Doesn’t sound like a proper manicure to me. I was so appalled by the lack of effort and service that I won’t be coming back again or even ask for a refund because it was just ridiculous. This place is a giant joke! Save your money and your sanity and go somewhere that actually knows what they’re doing. I made an appointment with Fiona 3 times, each time she rushed through taking off my polish and then passed me along to someone else. As if I didn’t have an appointment in advance each time! Don’t even bother trying to get her to do your nails- rude and a huge waste of time. The only reason I give this one star is because of Lily.
