I went to this salon a few times this past year. The women are very nice. I thought the stylist did a pretty good job for the price; except this last time. Honestly the work got worse and worse every time I visited (I visited 3 times). I am very disappointed with the size of the braids and the parts. I paid 200.00 for small braids. I got medium braids and the parts are all different sizes. I won’t be going back.

Friendly and fast. I’ve been here several times over the years and I’m always satisfied with my braids. I usually get micros but went with Senegalese twist and love them. If you want a hairdo that’ll last and reasonable prices go here. Make sure you call for an appt!

Critical: Quality, ValueGood afternoon!I needed to express how unhappy I am with my hair.I paid$160 and a large amount are different sizes, the start of the braid is way to long before the twist starts and the knots are big and messy. I have hair coming out of so many of my braid as well.If it wasn’t something that they could do or I should’ve come back I would’ve preferred to be told that..I feel I WASTED my $160 because I have to take these out. The work is amazing and I love bookie. She is the BEST BRAIDER HANDS DOWN. The only thing I don’t like is i like my braids long and they’ll give you a price… I agree to pay what they say and they will complain the whole time while braiding my hair that its too long. It makes me feel uncomfortable and like my choice to spend my hard earned money with them is not appreciated. Ive been about 5 times and every time I feel uncomfortable for this reason. Although the work is really good… I can’t listen to them complain for hours and hours about braiding my hair so Ive decided I m going to go elsewhere next time.

I called on my day off as I had just got back into town the day before from DC and wanted knotless braids. I didn’t know where to go as I had not had these type of braids before so I didn’t have a stylist that I trusted to do a good job. After calling several hair braiding shops (all receptionist/some owners) were really pleasant during the call – one stood out the most!

My parts are super uneven and my hair is connected in different braids.The parts are huge in the back bu I refused to let her start over after having to start the first braid 4 times. The price was ridiculous! My hair is really short but she worked it out and grabbed each strand of my hair. I have gotten so many compliments. This is my forever braiding home. I felt very welcome when I came in. The staff there is amazing but my lady Bookie…she is a beast! My hair is really short but she worked it out and grabbed each strand of my hair. This was my first time visiting Eloms and I highly recommend this shop! They have reasonable prices and they are very sweet. Nawa braided my hair and she did an amazing job. She took her time on my hair and didn’t rush, but it actually took less time than I thought it would… I got triangle box braids and she finished in about 4 hours. My braids are very neat and they are not tight at all. By looking at them they may look tight because of how neat they are, but my scalp felt fine from the beginning to end. I do think that the shop could look a little cleaner and more presentable when you first walk-in, but overall I do recommend them and I plan to go back for my next braiding style.
