If you go there for a curly cut, make sure you know exactly what you are getting. I explained that I mostly wear my hair curly but sometimes wear it straight. They did say it could look “different” straight, but didn’t say it would be completely uneven. Went I went somewhere else to get highlights the stylist took these pics to show me just how uneven it was. Unless you wear your hair curly 100% of the time, I would not recommend.

I have been going to Elle for years now and just recently had my first not so great experience (I wanted to go from my summer blonde to a darker fall less manageable color) and for whatever reason, the colored turned out a muddy, green warm brown. I got it done Friday and called on Monday. The manager Amber was so sweet and got me the first available appointment to come back in. I had Sam this time to fix it and wow did she FIX IT. She had to do multiple steps and processes in order to help me and she spent 4 hours doing it. It came out PERFECT and exactly what I wanted! I couldn’t be happier and also loved that they didn’t make me feel bad for wanting it redone. Thank you!!!

Amelia is a phenomenal aesthetician! She is so calm and easy-going and her lash treatments and spray tan are so good! I highly recommend her not only for the quality of service you will receive but also because she is someone who is easy to be with Especially with your eyes closed for an hour. She makes the whole process easy and relaxing.

This is the best place for hair coloring and extensions by far. I always get so many compliments on my hair and have recommended several people to this salon- specifically to Allison. I lived in North Carolina for 6 years before moving home and was really nervous to find a great salon in this area. Allison always goes above and beyond for my hair. It’s never looked better. The owner Elle also always comes around to each client and gets to know them personally which is amazing because that is not the case with many other places. Amber at the front desk is also so sweet and professional because she will work with you to get you in and help you order things as needed (ie more hair for extensions). Honestly everyone there is really nice and just so accommodating. I would only go to this salon point blank.

Elle is highlight of the week for my 102 year old mother, who loves to have her done by her stylist, Laura. Laura is patient, kind, and gives my mom a lovely bouffant hair do–that complements her hair. I can’t believe a little old lady has so much hair after seeing Laura work her magic. Everybody is so considerate and personable, especially Amber! It’s a lovely place to come. Thank you for making my mom so happy!!

Worst spray tan I’ve ever had. Tried here because they advertise norvell and recommended by friend for great service and expertise. I’ve been using spray tan for years and this was special for tropical trip. Certainly needing to wear swimsuit the whole week. My hands were dark and legs barely had any color at all. I’d never use this business again. And honestly just about ruined my trip. I’m the only bright white chick on the beach.

I was reluctant about getting my first haircut here, and now that I have, I will NOT be returning. From first impressions, nobody greeted me or welcomed me when I came in. I stood there and waited for a few minutes without being greeted or asked if I would like a drink while I waited. My hairstylist, Laura approached me and said to follow her. She immediately asked me what I wanted and I showed her some pictures and felt like I did a thorough job of describing to her the look that I wanted. She then took me over to wash my hair. The place seemed empty. I was the only customer on one side of the salon. When Laura rinsed my hair, the water was scorching hot. Thankfully, she turned it down a bit, but it could’ve been cooler. She should know that hot water damages your hair. While cutting my hair, she kept the conversations going. I don’t mind keeping a conversation but I also like to be conscious of the job that they’re doing and keeping their concentration. However, she seemed to fail her focus when she didn’t double check her work with evening out my ends on both sides. Usually the hairstylist will pause and take moments to go back and make sure it’s even all the way around. She moved quickly and went on to blow drying. I think the volume of the blow dry disguised the flaws of the haircut. I wish she would’ve taken more time with me and giving more attention to the details. As sharp my eyes are in noticing these details, I think a good hairstylist should do the same. I felt like I was a rushed job and when I went to use the bathroom and came out, she was working on another customer, even though she told me that I was her last customer and that she wasn’t even informed by the receptionist that I was booked for her. There’s a clear lack of communication and might I add, professionalism at this business. Upon waiting to pay, there was a problem with a customer at the desk and I just stood there without being acknowledged. The receptionist changed and she didn’t say anything to me except for the transaction. No warmth or friendliness whatsoever. There are literally tons of hair salons in the area and I am certainly not coming back here for their poor customer service. Since I’ve gone home and taken a shower, I had to grab my own scissors and fix the bad haircut. My bangs were uneven and my left side of my hair was longer. Even today, you can still see the flaws. She also cut my bangs way too thick. I’m constantly pinning them back and wearing a headband because of how annoying it is. Lesson learned.
