I had scheduled an appointment for partial balayage. I didn’t like how my roots were dark so I asked my stylist Morgan if we could do partial highlights instead. She was more than happy to oblige. This was my third time seeing her. 1st time, I went in for partial highlights and second time I went in for a touch up. When I went in for the second time I had my hair touched up from my roots all the way around and I was charged for a partial highlight. So when I communicated that it was the roots that I was concerned about, I thought I will be going home with the same result. I had asked for an Ash brown color, but it looked quite dark so it was hard for me to see if I got what I asked for. It was not the shade that I wanted but Morgan had told me it would lighten up a tad bit so I was ok with that. However, after about a week, the color lightened up and I noticed that the section of hair I wanted to get done was not touched at all and there was good 4 inches of hair all around that was not colored. I was confused because the second time I went in and got a partial highlight done, my entire roots were touched up. I reached out to the salon and asked them if it could be fixed and I was asked to come in for a consultation. I came in with a positive attitude and an open mind. However, the store owner Lisa, was defensive from the get go. I told her she was being very defensive but I that I was there only to explain her why I was not happy with the service. She told me she was being defensive because Morgan is one of her best stylists and that I was complaining about her service. I understand that employers want to protect their employee and I am sure Morgan is one of her best stylist. She had done a great job on my hair the 1st time I came in and that is why I kept coming back for more services. However, it does not mean there is no room for an error. There was clearly a miscommunication on their end as I was not explained what I was looking for was not a partial balayage or a partial highlight but a full foil. I would not have mind dropping another $100 to get the result I wanted when I was already spending close to $300 for the entire service. Also, the color was completely off from what I wanted but after the short conversation with Lisa, I did not even want to touch on that subject. I realized that she came in for a chat with a preconceived notion and there was nothing I could do or say would change her mind. Unfortunately, I will not going back to the salon again. I was treated poorly during the consultation where Lisa constantly interrupted me while I was trying to explain and made it seem like I was in the wrong to complain about the service. There was zero accountability on their end.

I am not happy about my hair color. It didn’t come out the way as we discussed. Also, nothing was done to make it better. They didn’t even remove the hair colour stains from my head. Overall, I am not happy with the service. I liked their haircut which I got previously done but it’s a no no for hair color. Hair coloring

I am a new client at Elle salon and I absolutely love it! The salon is very clean and everyone that I’ve talked to is very courteous and professional. I had Lisa install tape in extensions to my hair and she was awesome, I’m OBSESSED with my new hair. I’ve had tape in extensions previously installed at a different salon but Elle has definitely been the best. 10/10 recommend coming here!

I got a complimentary consultation with Morgan at no cost where we discussed the cut style I want. She was very kind, and I’m looking forward to my next appointment with her. I initially talked over email with Sharon, she gets back to you very fast and is very kind and nice when you arrive to the salon. I also liked the salon itself, it’s very spacious, clean, organized, and with a friendly atmosphere.
