Such a cute little nail spot. Very clean and elegant. I got my nails done at a previous place and they came out really bad so I called EllE Nails and asked if they could fix my nails for me. Without any hesitation they took me in immediately and gave me one of the best manicures and pedicures I’ve had in a long time! This is such a wonderful company! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I had a very nice conversation while getting my nails done. I will definitely be making EllE nails my new nail place. Pedicure every 3 weeks or so. They do great work. Really good leg, foot & shoulder neck massage. Very comfortable massage chairs. It’s a fun place to go. And my toes never looked better!!

Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Best shellac mani and service you can get! Awesome pedicures too (highly recommend the Green Tea Spa one)! Reasonably priced for everything you get, conveniently located, the staff are always so welcoming and happy to help you pick colors or answer any questions you have. Definitely make an appointment just to be safe. While they do everything to accomodate walk ins and can usually see you, more often than not they’re jam packed with loyal customers. Oh ya, and you get a mini back and shoulder rub during your manicure which is honestly probably my favorite thing about Modern Nails lol. Love everything about this place-no matter what service you opt for, you will leave feeling pampered and more relaxed than you anticipated. I recommend Modern Nails to anyone wanting to treat themselves or a loved one.

I understand this is a very busy time of year for pedicures hence the reason I made an appointment. Initially I arrived to my 3:30 appointment 20 minutes early and thought if they could take me sooner great. They were unable to which was not a problem. I said I would run a quick errand and be back for 3″30. Arrived back at 3:31, picked a color and proceeded to sit there til 3:46 without so much as an acknowledgment that they were running behind and they would be with me soon. I walked out and will not return. My time is very valuable too and certainly didn’t feel like they cared in the least. Going back to Colchester!

Very disappointed I got a pedicure. I also struggle with ingrown toenails. When I called to make an appointment with my lady, I was told she no longer was there. I informed her of my needs, she told me she had a lady that would do a good job. I agreed. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment. I had to tell her how to do my my toes, she didn’t even clean out underneath. It was like she was very new to this work. I didn’t even get my toenails cut properly for ingrown. I’ve been going there for years. I’m sad to say, I will not be returning. Worst pedicure ever.

These guys are super friendly and welcoming. I had a shellac manicure and they made my sad damaged nails look amazing. They asked specifically about my preferences and made sure I liked everything about the whole deal. I’ll absolutely be going back.

I was incredibly disappointed by this nail salon. The place was clean and the staff was nice enough, until we went to leave that is. My mother and I went to get pedicures. She paid for both of us along with leaving a generous tip, which was to be split between the two of them. But then, as we were leaving, we were literally chased out by a member of the staff who wasn’t satisfied with the tip we gave them, and wanted a separate 2nd tip. We were so thrown off by the audacity she had to take it upon herself to chase us out for another tip that we actually gave it to her. I cannot believe that a place that relys on return customers would treat us in this manner, it was completely embarrassing. A tip is up to the customers discretion. The fact that this staff member and by extension the salon itself thought it appropriate to chase a paying customer out to get what they thought they are entitled to is appalling. If a certain amount is what you are looking for then it should be included in the price of services. At least let your customers know that you believe the services you provide are worth it. In my opinion they were not. After we left I noticed one of my nails was messed up. One of the staff actually noticed this before we left, got down and looked at my toe but still let me leave like that. It was very noticable and I actually had to fix it myself after I got home. To make matters worse the polish started chipping two days later. I’ve never had this bad of an experience with a nail salon in my life.
