At first, I thought Elizabeth was very nice and when I left, my lashes looked great. However, as my lashes dried, they continued to curl to the point my lashes were lying directly on my eyelids. I called her and sent her pictures, and she told me that what happened was “normal” and what all her clients wanted. 10 days later, she did them over, but this time was VERY different. I consulted with an friend of mine in Colorado who is a lash and brow specialist and she thought maybe the pads were too small or maybe the processing time was too long, but not a big deal and easily fixable. I mentioned this to her, and she said that’s absolutely not what happened, it’s because I have curly hair. On my head. Never in my life has anyone ever suggested a person with naturally curly hair grows eyelashes in the same way. Never mind my 43 years living with it. I didn’t talk any further about it, and we proceeded to start. Her phone was ringing, on two separate occasions, and she went over and declined the call, THEN went straight back to touching my eyes without washing we hands. I said, quite calmly, that made me uncomfortable. This is when she started yelling at me. She said she’s a Dr and I shouldn’t question her and that I just need to settle down and relax. Now being in the Dental field 8 years, 5 as an assistant, I know that you don’t touch a pen, let alone a disgusting phone and then touch your patient. But I let it go and stayed quiet. At the end, she told me that I had no right to question her (again) and that I insulted her by saying she overprocessed my lashes. I tried to explain to her that I wasn’t accusing her, that I was trying to have a conversation about what happened, and she told me “that’s not how you have a conversation.” Found her on Groupon where she advertises that her services are $101 to purchase the Groupon for $51, when in reality, she charges $60. BEWARE! I wanted to post a picture of my results but I don’t see where I can, but feel free to email me and I’ll send it to you.
