I highly recommend this salon to anyone, any gender. I have been going here exclusively for my hair, for soon to be 20 years. Yes, really! Alex is my choice at Elixir, although I often observe other talented & friendly staff. I completely trust Alex with my hair. I had formerly been to salons that would always cut my hair too short, or incorrectly and I would regret it & fear the next unpredictable cut. Alex doesn’t just cut my hair well, she takes very good care of my hair. I prefer organic type products. This salon meets my all of my needs, cut, conditioning, or color and even serves me an amazing cup of licorice tea. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the staff, sometimes a friendly dog, and the convenient location. I admit that I also like going to a salon where people are welcoming & happy to see me when I arrive. I would absolutely NOT go anywhere else.

My experience with Elixir’s been great. Melody is the sweetest and over time we developed a great relationship. She’s very respectful and understanding. She listens to what I need when it comes to color/cut. Then she adds her professional piece and it’s been AMAZING. Everyone should try this salon out.

The salon’s adorable atmosphere fits in perfectly with the neighborhood surrounding it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Kasi cut my shoulder length hair and did a fantastic job. Rose is absolutely the best hairdresser I have EVER had! I have been getting my hair done over 15 years and I’ve never had someone who was this skilled at her craft. She listens, understands, is incredibly talented and I genuinely enjoy getting my hair done because a) she is so fun to hang out with and b) because I know it will be done exactly how I like it! Blonde hair is tough and I am very high maintenance with my hair so when I saw she always does a fantastic job, I don’t say that lightly. In summary, she is AWESOME!!
