Wonderful experience – highly recommend! I have gotten so many compliments and I love my new haircut! Barbie is AMAZING, super kind, accommodating and patient! She took me as a walk-in pretty late on Friday and focused on cutting my hair exactly like I asked, making me feel heard and not rushed. She even worked me in the next day when I decided I wanted to get a little more taken off to ensure I was ecstatic with the cut! The place has a cute, funky, fun feel. Highly recommend!

Elixir Salon has the coolest vibe of any salon we’ve seen locally and in all of our travels (from Florida to Maine and everywhere in between). From the quirky decor to the eclectic music, there isn’t a single detail that’s been overlooked. The owner Barbie is FANTASTIC! There has never been a hair request she hasn’t been able to fulfill. She goes over and beyond to make sure my daughters get exactly what hair cut and color they want every single time. My girls have requested it all. Short, layered, long, straight, platinum blonde, dark brown, extensions, the list goes on and on! Barbie charges less than half of what we were paying for the same services at our previous salon and does a much better job! We drive 40 minutes each way, and it is well worth it. We highly recommend Barbie and Elixir Salon!

Called same day and was able to book an appointment. I scheduled a deep conditioning treatment and blowout. My hair was done in a timely manner and I have long thick hair.
