I am from the Raleigh, NC area and down for the month. I checked all the reviews on line and was pleasantly surprised by all the rave reviews on Elite. I arrived at opening, with no appointment. and they were already busy with, what seemed to be, regular customers. They were very cordial to me as I waited maybe 30 minutes.

I was visiting a friend who lives on the island, and just popped in right before closing on a Friday. He took my old dip off, and replaced it with THIN!!! dip that made my nails feel so lite. It is the thinnest dip I’ve ever gotten and I’m in love. He also took amazing care of cuticles – they are still feeling great almost a month later. This place is awesome! We came down for vacation and made a day-of appointment for 3 pedicures and 3 young ladies helped us immediately. The basic pedicure is more than enough! Critical: ProfessionalismMy mom went down to St Simon Island to enjoy her graduation and we booked an appointment as a surprise for her. When they got to the salon the workers were very rude, and not helpful. The one going to work on my moms pedi basically tossed the color selections at her, and wouldn’t answer my sisters questions. They don’t get mani pedis very often so it’s expected for people to have questions. The environment was not welcoming at all. Maybe it was a bad day, but if you’re in a service industry you can still treat your next guest with kindness. My mom went down to St Simon Island to enjoy her graduation and we booked an appointment as a surprise for her. When they got to the salon the workers were very rude, and not helpful. The one going to work on my moms pedi basically tossed the color selections at her, and wouldn’t answer my sisters questions. Had a great first experience at Elite Nails & Spa today! I had a their deluxe gel pedicure, eye brow wax and an hour long massage all by Amber. I was beyond satisfied! She was thorough, attentive and is an extremely talented masseuse. My friend had a pedicure, fill-ins (acrylics) and eyebrow tinting. She is as satisfied with her experience at Elite as I am. We hope to be back on our next trip to St. Simon’s next year. I would highly recommend this nail/spa salon.
