I asked for a manicure with white tips and pink. My nails were filed unevenly as well as the tips painted uneven The technician was more worried about her phone than taking care of a customer. I will not ever go back there..

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went for a manicure on Saturday. There were only 2 other customers in the shop. I asked for dip nails. It was my first time to try dip nails, so I wasn’t familiar with the process, and was excited to give them a try.The man at the counter gestured toward the chairs and said something that sounded like sit over there. I asked him to repeat what he said. He gestured at the chairs and a lady pointed at a chair, so I sat where she pointed.I picked my color, and the lady who was going to do my nails asked how long I wanted them. I told her medium length, square tips. She said she would use my natural nails. I said no, they weren’t long enough, and I don’t like how my natural nails are curved, so I wanted tips. The lady nodded, so I thought she was agreeing with me. I was very wrong. She started doing the prep for the manicure, and when I thought she was about to start gluing on tips, she was actually starting the dip process. I told her stop, I wanted tips. She told me “No tips with dip today. I’ll make them pretty.” I didn’t know what was going on. She preceded to start adding color. I accepted the process, which is where I made my 1st mistake. I should have stopped the whole thing and insisted on my tips being added, or left the salon. But my mistake, I let it go on. Shame on me, because it got worse. She finished doing the color, and she added a layer of clear powder, that I guess was a top coat. Then she applied what I later learned was the activator, that hardens the dip powder. Only she didn’t brush it on, she just slopped it all over my nails and skin on the end of my fingers. I was really shocked at her just dragging this brush that was dripping liquid across my nails, fingertips, and the table top. She told me to put my hand in the UV lamp for two 60 second cycles, per hand after that. I later learned that lamp isn’t needed for dip nails. After that, she started shaping my nails. That was a little rough, she good my fingers tightly, and jerked my fingers around. She filled into my nail beds in the corners of my fingers. Then she got out the buffing block. She didn’t just buff my nails, she buffed my nails, skin, cuticles, and 1st knuckle. I pulled my hand away and told her she was hurting me. She said “Sorry” and gestured for my to give her my hand. She was more gentle for a few strokes, and then she started buffing my skin again. I told her she was hurting me again. She said something that I didn’t understand, and keep going, holding my finger so I couldn’t get away. All 10 fingers were on fire by the time she was done. She then took a dirty, dusty, nasty looking puffy brush from the drawer and dusted off my fingers before applying the liquid top coat. My fingers were burning and stinging. When she finished I asked if I could wash my hands. She said yes. The cold water felt so good. When I paid, the man at the counter asked “Everything good?” And I told him no. I asked for tips, didn’t get those. She hurt me with the file and buffer and keep hurting me, even when I told her it hurt. The brushes she uses are dirty. His reply was “45 dollars.”I paid and got out. I will never go there again. I will report them on Monday.Service: ManicureI went for a manicure on Saturday. There were only 2 other customers in the shop. I asked for dip nails.
