I have never been to Colorado or anywhere with a high elevation so I was a bit worried about how my body would adjust as I was coming out here for a wedding. And no one wants to be down and out for that. I found Vida-flo shortly before I left for my trip and made an appointment for my stop in Breckenridge. I definitely felt the altitude with the harder breathing and not being very hungry at all. I ended up showing up a bit early but they still took me back and got started. I’m not an easy stick for needles but Jodie did awesome and got it on the first try in my hand. I swear this step saved my trip, I got my appetite back afterwards from the b vitamins and adjusted pretty quickly from there. Some of the other friends coming to this wedding had a harder time adjusting and are more active than I am. I am stopping on my way back to Denver for another appointment before I head home where I have a riding clinic two days later to try and keep me on my game. Definitely so so so worth it. And no ER trips. I’m one happy lady 🙂 you won’t regret it.

I am super sensitive to altitude. Two hours after arriving from FL I felt the familiar symptoms. Rather than rent a pricey oxygen machine which I doubt I could sleep with I tried IV treatment here. It worked unbelievably well and I hit the slopes the next day with no issues. I’m a fan!

I’ve always suffered at high altitudes staying properly hydrated and avoiding headaches. Breckenridge’s base elevation will push you to the limit, especially if you are visiting from sea level. The treatment took over an hour so make sure you are not in a hurry. I starting feeling a huge improvement after the treatment.
