I’ve been going to Elite European Day Spa (west 21st street) since I’ve moved here about 6 years ago. I’ve been around 5-6 times and every time I’ve had an enjoyable experience. If something goes wrong they do their best to rectify the situation. I appreciate the attention that goes in the nail services and spa services. I never feel rushed. Today was the first time I’ve gotten something done to my hands and Aniya did a great job with my soak off and regular manicure while educating me on nail health/care. I will continue to return as long as I live in the area 🙂

To start – I have been a customer here for almost 3 years and generally have a great experience. I have also never posted a google review but felt that I was wronged and mistreated as a loyal customer. Yesterday, I got a shellac manicure and was pleased as usual when I left the salon. However, within 2 minutes of leaving the salon one of the nails had completely peeled off. I came back into the salon and the technician repeatedly stated it was because of “how short my nails are”. My nails are always short and yet I have never had that issue before. She repainted the nail and 30 minutes later I asked the woman at the front desk for some sort of discount or gift certificate given my experience. She very rudely and dismissively said “we don’t do that” and only offered a discount if it happened again. After I left, I realized that the nail was not actually fixed – it was still wet and now has scratches and fingerprints in it. This manicure was >$50. Overall I felt undervalued as a customer and will not be returning.

Love going here. We did have to wait a few minutes past our scheduled appt time but no big deal for the quality and attitude of everyone that works here. Even better, as a guy I got no judgement from the staff for pedicure with color polish. Polish holds up great too.

Very welcoming and pretty spa. I got a simple Shellac manicure and I loved how the manicurist took her time. The quality is top notch. Fyi, you will need to make an appointment.

I have gotten a wax and my eye lashes done and omg I’m in love with this place. These women are great at their jobs! Wax was nearly painless, lashes are bomb and ready to try the rest of the service they have available. Paid 65 for wax and 90 for lashes so worth it honestly! I’m an Hispanic young women and yes it is primarily older white women but they treated me no different then anyone else there. Loved all the workers that helped me there.

Without a doubt, Elite is the best spa in Norfolk by a long stretch. I have been a customer there since they first opened. I have consistently received quality service in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The spa itself is gorgeous and clean. I can’t say enough good things about Elite!
