I never write reviews, but I just went in and asked for a trim on my longer hair (been growing for 9 months). Without wetting or combing it at all, he just starts cutting fast and taking off more than I asked for. He never sprayed it with water, just cut it dry and left me with nothing like what I wanted. I was the only customer and hoped that I’d get a good, attentive cut, but what I got instead was an uneven rush job! Will not be going back!

I went in expecting a good haircut because my brother had recommended the place. My mistake was not waiting for Elie, who cut my brothers hair last time. I went with another barber who did not know how to cut hair at all, no exaggeration. I asked for a disconnected undercut and described to him the exact length I liked it on the top and sides, asking for a buzz and fade for the sides specifically. He nodded as if he understood, but proceeded to cut an entirely different haircut. My hair is now mostly buzzed off, very unevenly, with barely a tuft of hair on top. I legitimately think it looks worse than just a straight buzz, or maybe even bald. It’s very uneven, and his technique was off as well. Instead of gliding the buzzer across my head like you’re supposed to, he pointed the tip inwards so it scratched my scalp. When he started buzzing the top, it was already too late. I told him again that I wanted a disconnected undercut with longer hair on top, to which he replied, “calm down.” But seeing that he already cut it short on one side of my head, I had no other choice but to allow him to finish the job. He seemed like a complete novice, and there seems to be a big language barrier as well. Honestly the worst haircut I’ve received in years. Just want to be honest about my experience, and give a warning (especially those with Asian hair, which many barbers seem to misunderstand how to cut). My brother, who was getting a haircut (from Elie) simultaneously next to me, walked out with a sharp looking haircut. I, on the other hand, will be seen sporting a Nike cap for a few months until my hair grows back.

Eli is good, but the other guy always cuts my hair way too short, and it’s always sloppy after. And every time I went in the other guy (not eli) would always ask “Are you gay?” And other phrases along those lines. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!
