Edit 12/27/22: She has been doing my nails ever since and I will not be going anywhere else! Every time has been right on point. (Halloween pic is after 4 weeks of growth) Thank you Mei!

Critical: QualityI went to this nail salon based on the reviews, and I am very disappointed in the services I was provided. I usually don’t leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I feel like this is the absolute worst manicure I’ve ever received. There was only me and another person in the salon because I came when they first opened. There was no one behind me waiting either for services, so I feel like the nail tech shouldn’t have needed to rush. Both a gel pedicure and dip manicure took only a little over an hour, which should be an indication that they weren’t done well. Especially when the person who entered at the same time as me wasn’t done her pedicure by the time both of my services were completed. The manicure looks absolutely terrible; there is tons of polish around and under my nails, they are lumpy, and multiple spots don’t even have the top polish on them correctly. Honestly, the dip manicure looks as though a child did it. The gel pedicure is mediocre and I doubt it will last long just by watching the application, which really sucks because this was definitely a waste of $92. It seems like the other customer was enjoying her services by May, so maybe if you come here you need to ask for her but I don’t recommend this salon for walk-ins.Update two days later; they are already cracking and breaking off.Services: Dip powder, PedicureI went to this nail salon based on the reviews, and I am very disappointed in the services I was provided. Positive: Quality, ValueI have been going to Elevation for a few months now. May (the owner) is such a wonderful, patient, fair lady. The shop is always such a friendly happy environment. Everything is sanitized properly, and very clean. I just want to say I have had one experience that was less than ideal but the person who did that service no longer works there. May has little patience when her workers do not show optimal performance with customers AND craft and has shown that by her management skills. The pictures below are 5 days after service. My eyelashes still have yet to have even one extension fall out, and my nails still look amazing. This is hands down the best salon in the area when it comes to quality, price, and cleanliness combined. The others salons area charge 3x what the service is worth!! Trust me when I say this place is definitely worth it!! I forgot to mention May is always keeping up with current trends and has different colors, length, & volume etc eyelash extensions.Services: Foot massages, Manicure, Eyelash extensions, PedicureI have been going to Elevation for a few months now. I was very nervous about trying a new nail salon, but HENRY made me very comfortable. He is new to the salon, and I highly recommend him. Will definitely be going back.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have been coming here for almost a year now to get my nails done. I ALWAYS make an appointment before coming and tell them what I need done. However, I understand there are times you need to wait and be patient. I made an evening appointment and came in, stated again what I needed (manicure and pedicure gel dipped) and was asked to wait at one of the pedicure areas. After 30 minutes, I was asked again what I needed, stated it, and had the cotton balls placed on my toes to continue to wait. When I showed the tech the picture of what I needed (because I’ll be in a wedding), she goes “just pick color”. She got the colors and I continued to wait when a couple (male and female came in). She switched from me to them and the male tech was going to do my nails. The last time I had him, he cut my skin because he was working fast. I figured I’d give him another chance. He came over and asked, for the 3rd time, what I needed and I stated it, again. He proceeded to give me an attitude, swing up the side arm of the pedicure chair and tell me, while I have my toes wrapped, I needed to walk over to his station barefoot. When I said I was not walking barefoot, he said, “you’ll be fine”. Mind you – I’m also 7 months pregnant. I walked over and he proceeds to lecture me about making an appointment. I told him I did, and my appointment began 45 minutes ago. When I made said appointment, I also stated what I needed, as well as coming in. He asked me “well, who did you talk to? Man or woman” as if he didn’t believe me! I told him it was a woman and I didn’t ask who I spoke to – never have asked that before and never thought to! I sat with my hands in the gloves and acetone for 40 minutes, which is a very long time. I am very disappointed at the service and attitude I was given by a place I come (now came) to frequently. The male tech rushed through my manicure and ended up cutting my skin for the second time now while filing. I know they are doing a raffle and I wasn’t even offered to have my name put in – which is fine. I will NOT be going back with this type of service. The woman tech that started with me did come over and apologize for switching and explained her reasoning, which was fine. That wasn’t the issue. The issue was how I was treated and how it was handled throughout my service. I loved the attention to detail that the nail tech provided. My nails turned out really well. However she was very rough. I was in a lot of pain during my visit. My cuticles even bled. I am shy and didn’t tell her, but it was very painful. I am still in a lot of pain and I’ve been home for several hours. I was told to make an appointment with May and I should have.
