She was patient, fun and worked with the girls on the best shades that would compliment their complexions. The girls enjoyed every minute — and the hot tea and coffee was an extra treat. Purchased a gift card for my fiance. She had her hair do e and it was awful. She gave them a second try for nails, and she had a good experience. Wanted to get her nails done again, but Elements no longer provides the service. I called to get a refund so we could go to a different salon. The manager of Elements stated that the gift card had no value and she could not refund the balance. Sure had a lot of “value” at the time I purchased it!! Now I understand why we were encouraged NOT to go there in the beginning. What a horrible experience, all around! Strongly suggest looking anywhere else for service. Too bad I had to give the 1 star. That was generous!!!!!

Update: the salon has now refunded my money, which is good. The owner contacted me, concerned by what had happened. Still, she doesn’t seem convinced that I was nicked on the head, which is not good. She also pointed out that I seemed satisfied after the repair haircut–it wasn’t quite what I wanted, but was better than before (since I have short hair, it wasn’t as though we could do much else to my hair to fix it). When I got my hair cut elsewhere last week, the stylist noticed places where the hair was noticeably shorter than elsewhere, meaning chunks must have been very short after my haircut at Elements.

I go here every 3 months to get my new hair growth dyed to match my preferred hair color, platinum blonde, and Howie does an incredible job every time! She is very thorough and takes the time to ensure every bit of new growth is painted with the lightener and that all the yellow/orange is gone. She checks on me regularly while the color is lifting to ensure it’s not burning my scalp, and she always offers refreshments. She is also very responsive to feedback and was able to subtly adjust the shade of blonde I wanted with toner. I can’t recommend her highly enough! (The wait can be long to get an appointment with her or the other most experienced stylists, or to get any of the massage/spa services, but it’s totally worth it.)

Went in for a cut and style today and was absolutely blown away with galina. I showed her a picture and she asked some questions and made my hair look amazing and exactly what I wanted. I usually am skeptical with getting my hair cut but seriously she is amazing with hair. I def recommend 100%! Amazing experience.

Threatened to call the cops ON MY WIFE because they practically cut off ALL my wife’s hair and she didn’t want to pay for bad service(as anyone would)! She had hair down to the middle of her back and asked them to cut it to below her shoulders and they proceeded to cut her hair to her JAWLINE. This place was horrible to my wife and even made her cry because they were so rude to her and “ruined” my wife’s hair. Do not recommend or ever will to anyone. DO NOT go here because they will not listen to you or at the very least own up to their mistakes. Also proceed to upcharge her even though before going she called and said they would do a $50 and ended up charging her for $65 for a basic haircut.

Had a facial with Mary Ella and had a great experience. She was kind, kept me informed through out the whole process, and she was very intentional with the facial and catered it to my skin needs. We did a peel mask and now almost a week later my face is feeling smooth and even in texture- I have very oily spots or really dry patches so having even texture is hard. 12/10. Great experience.
