Aleen is amazing. I originally found her on Yelp. I can’t even remember how long ago, but I’ve been going to her since maybe 2011? She’s solid with what she does. She’s honest about what works with your hair type. I’d been chemically straightening my hair for years. She convinced me that she could cut my hair so I could wear it with my natural texture, therefore not having to pay for constant straightening. She was right. My hair has always been wash and go since I’ve been going to her. Always happy to see me and always a good conversation. She’s upbeat and honest. I trust her with any haircut she gives me, long layers or asymmetric bob. She loves what she does and it shows. She’s the best ❤️

She covered my roots, added partial brown highlights, and trimmed my hair, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! I love Alene! I have been going here for years based on a friend’s recommendation and I’m glad I came! She keeps it real – for example, once I wanted to cut my hair really short and she told me I wouldn’t look good with that type of haircut, and I’m glad I listened to her. Most places I come out not liking my haircut but I never felt that with Alene. She washes, cuts, and styles your hair for an awesome price. I’ve also been here to color my hair and she does an excellent job at that as well. Alene is very friendly and also gives you advice on how to keep your hair healthy.

Update to the original review: Elements Salon is a welcoming place that takes COVID19 precautions very seriously. They not only extensively sanitize surfaces, keep distance, have hand sanitizer available, measure customers’ temperature by the entrance but the even have air purifiers to minimize the risks.
