I went for my 50th birthday (and had been to another place once and had a very bad experience) so I am happy to say that I had a very nice experience. My masseuse was very personable and a very nice lady. She focused on my back where I had asked her to. We had a pleasant conversation because I talked a lot. Without the nervousness I felt it was a good experience. I will go back, but not regularly like they want me to (of course). With the atmosphere so pleasant and good service it will bring the back although I might want to try someone else to see how massage changes. I would recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst massages I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what kind of training the therapists get but the therapist I was with should NOT be doing any type of deep tissue or pressure point work, someone is going to get hurt. My therapist said, “we’re going to get your pain to a zero.” After a couple of strokes, I was asked, “well are you at a zero yet?” I said yes just to get it over with. I get massages monthly and all I can say is tonight’s massage left me with a deep appreciation for my knowledgeable and well trained regular therapist. Too bad it was a waste of money. But hey, sometimes that happens. Its not the only bad massage I’ve ever had. Maybe a good therapist for someone else.

I would not recommend this place. When you purchase or get a gift card for a 90 minute massage they actually only massage you for one hour.

Honestly overpriced, assistant manager is rude, and they make their membership difficult to cancel and fill out forms. When you want to cancel recurring charges it should be simple not complicated. There are much better massages and better quality for less without being tied to a membership here in SCV.

Got a full body massage for Father’s day! My masseuse Athena was great! Worth every penny. I went into a deep trance-like sedation during the massage and left feeling very floaty and stoned. It was great! I recommend adding the eucalyptus aroma therapy add on.
