Terrible experience at this Elements location. I have been a long time Elements customer, and have visited multiple different locations. This was my first time at this location. My husband scheduled a 90 min massage for me as a Christmas gift. Upon arriving, I was informed that they did not have me on the schedule, despite me having an email confirmation for that day, time, and with a masseuse at their location . It was a massive inconvenience. Wasted time, childcare arrangements, gas, and it took away the joy of the gift from my husband, and he felt bad even though he did nothing wrong. The owner, Thomas, was in the office that day, but wasn’t able to come out to talk to me so the receptionist had to keep going back to speak to him. He offered me a complimentary 30 min massage extension, but I had to reschedule for a different date, and the next available that was offered to me was 16 days away! The masseuse that was offered to me for that day is an “elite” therapist so there would be an up charge to book with her. I asked if that fee was able to be waived due to the circumstance, and was told no. At this point I had been standing in the lobby for 30 minutes with no resolution. Here is what should have happened (within 5-10 minutes of me being there) to create a great customer service experience that would have had me happy to return as a regular customer: “We are so sorry for the error on our part. We would like to reschedule you for another day this week and comp the cost of the massage due to the inconvenience this has caused you.” Instead I left with no rescheduled massage and very disappointed I had wasted an entire afternoon, instead of the relaxing 90 minutes I was expecting to have. I hope this experience will help this location better their customer service experience, and when errors do happen, know how to handle them to not loose customers.

Rochelle was fabulous. I recently started a new job, as well as a spin class and have been super sore and tight in my neck and upper back. I really didn’t have to be specific in terms of where I was having pain, as Rochelle was able to find the areas on her own that needed work. I could tell right away that she has a PT background, and truly knows her anatomy, which is much appreciated.

I came in for a 90 minute massage here today after seeing an add. I chatted with the staff over the phone and they made sure to match me with the best possible therapist for my concerns. After going for over 6 months to 1 MT here, and having him doze off 4 times, I finally decided to switch and give another MT a chance. Big mistake! When I first let her know I was there for a Swedish Massage she said right away that she could not do it light and could only do medium. Not a good greeting and she also let me know she had let the owner know this as well. Her profile is below and as you can see she is listed as a 1-4 in pressure level. A 1 should be light. I think that should be corrected. I am now starting to think that a membership here might need to be cancelled unless they can get their act straightened out.
