My first experience was just ok. My therapist struggled to maintain the pressure we settled on at the beginning and her nails were so long and dug hard into my skin even after telling her. She was kind and thoughtful but I think just needs more training. She spent a whole 1 min on an area I specifically circled to focus on in the chart and it was hard to know if she was going to go back to it. When I asked her to specifically focus on underneath my shoulder blades, as I circled on the chart, she went to my armpit… then when I asked again she proceeded to sort of go over my shoulder blade missing all of the knots… despite all of this, overall I left pretty relaxed just didn’t get what I asked (or paid?) for but because of the reviews and otherwise lovely atmosphere and customer service I did end up joining the membership because I have high hopes for some of the other therapists that have good reviews.

George is the best! I have seen many different massage therapists around the DMV and George is by far my favorite. He uses pressure yet is gentle and gets every single muscle tension in your body. He makes you feel comfortable and is really kind and considerate. I like to ask questions about why tension builds and in specific areas and he knows anatomy and the body so well he describes everything to me in detail.

Nice, clean facility with a friendly staff. My session was very personalized and she took the time to understand my history and what my needs were, and explained her background as well. She was able to offer helpful advice about stretches and other things I could do in between sessions to stay loose and healthy. Most importantly, the massage was effective and my shoulder has loosened up a lot.

I really appreciated that she provided me with recommendations for further treatment without making me feel pressured, which can be a difficult balance. The (I believe) owner who was working the front desk was also great – he was very welcoming and provided great information without being pressuring. This was the first massage I had gotten in over a year and it was extremely relaxing and also made me muscle tightness feel so much better. It was really one of the best massages of my life. Easy scheduling, once you go a few times the massage therapists really get to know your body and what you need. I’m not a big fan of “relaxing” or swedish massages, and the therapists have listened to what I wanted and help with muscle pain and tightness.
