Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueIf I could give zero stars I would!! I typically don’t leave reviews but this experience needs to be shared in hopes of sparing someone else. I took my mom today to get our nails done and me a pedicure. I asked if they could do nails and pedi same time they said yes, so we sit and get started. The lady doing my toes burnt me with the wax on my foot and when I told her it was too hot and burning me she laughed and proceeded to push the bag back onto my foot!!! Unbelievable ! I had to tell her 3 times, I no longer wanted it ,to please take it off! I was thinking no way I’m letting my other foot go in. After that all went okay. The other lady had started on my nails ,Then once another customer comes in ,the lady who had started my nails leaves, services the other client, while I’m waiting still for my nails to be done (my mom had been done @20 mins at this point) it was supposed to be done same time. So then 30 min later she finished the other customer comes back to me in a huge hurry, she was so rough , I have burns on my hands and nails and I will never go back 147$ later and I feel so scammed and I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed once I my hands aren’t sore anymore. please don’t go here for relaxation or a pleasant experience it truly isn’t at all.Services: Pedicure, Acrylic nailsIf I could give zero stars I would!! My name is Jennifer. I went for my first time yesterday. I have to say. This is the first time I received a great job on my nails. She did everything perfectly. The length was excellent. Perfectly done. She took her time. I just wish I would have gotten her name so I can get her to do it every time. I love the glitter selection with the powder. They are many selections. Love this place. Hopefully they continue do the best as they did yesterday.

Worst place ever! Called yesterday before I went to ask if they did gel dip. Went in and she soaked my natural nails in acetone for 10 mins. The lady who did my pedicure was great. But the younger girl was terrible. She didn’t know how to do gel dip. And there was another lady eating egg rolls in front of me, I was trying to relax. And all I heard was them screaming to one another while I smelled egg rolls and it was $74 dollars plus tip. I’m going back to my regular place today to get this mess fixed.

CHECK YOU ACCOUNT! Added tip! Worst experience. Not even worthy of 1 star. My “nail tech” didn’t know how to design a flower on my big toe. The pedicure I chose involved the hot towel. Everyone knows that’s when you get mint and the hot towel wrapped around. The nail tech said no it was just cleaning legs with hot towel. Seriously? I said forget about the flower, forget about the wax I asked for my eyebrows. I’m done. I paid for me and my sister $55 during “happy hour”. This was not a happy hour. The Monday following I was looking at my bank account and they added $10 tip, I was charged $65. I was furious. I went back to the salon and they gave me a $10 bill. I do not recommend. If you do choose this place pay cash or check you account after!!

I wouldn’t even give this place one star. I got my nails done with two of my close friends and as I’m waiting I asked a price of what I originally wanted (which was originally $20 according to their sign) and they told me it’d be $35. So that was upsetting in the fact that their sign was wrong and I got my hopes up but even after that I decided I’d still get my nails done, just sticking with an original acrylic nail set(paying $28 instead of the $20 the sign said still). The guy who did my nails not only rushed, not completely filing the nails down and shaping them to how I want but was rushing so much he had cut my finger open with his tool. I got my nails done Saturday after Christmas and by the time that Monday had come around 7 of my nails were already starting to come off, mind you the most I did between Saturday night and Monday morning before going to get them fixed was do the dishes. So Monday I made a trip from Dayton where I live to Baytown so I can get him or someone to fix my nails that are falling off and left more disappointed than before. It’s currently Thursday(only 3 days since I got them “fixed” aka filed and panted over again) and exactly to my expectations to his crappy “fixing” job, 3 of the 7 nails popped off, 2 of which was when I was sleeping and 1 as I was washing my hair. This place will never have mine nor any of my friend’s/family’s business ever again. The service was ridiculous and the nails weren’t even worth the cost or trip.

I wish I could rate this place with no stars, but that’s not an option. The service was HORRENDOUS from start to finish, I left after they took the previous powder polish off of my nails because I couldn’t take it anymore. When I walked in there were 3 nail techs, 2 doing nails and 1 doing a pedicure. I was the only other customer in the shop waiting at the time. I was seated at a station to soak my old polish off. Understandable. When the tech was done with her pedicure, she came over to start filing the polish off of my nails. Within aboit 5 minutes, I knew this was going to be a bad experience. She got up from the station about 5 times to tend to other customers/find equipment needed to do my nails. I was left soaking in acetone for over 20 minutes before being taken out to wipe off the old polish. She barely swiped my fingers with the file each time to buy herself more time. Having had my nails done hundreds of times, I knew what she was doing. I finally got fed up and took my nails out of the acetone, wiped them off (all the polish was off), and washed my hands. Meanwhile, my tech had started to refill another customer’s nails who had walked in after me. I was left sitting in the chair wondering when I would even get service. Completely frustrated and about to walk out, another tech came over and said I needed to soak longer… are you kidding me??!! I told her I was going to just go somewhere else. She grabbed my hand and started to file the remaining polish off and told me the previous polish had stained my fingers. I told her she was not using the right tool ( again, I’ve had my nails done hundreds of times. She was using the smoothing file which was not removing color, but melting it into my nail further). My nails were burning due to the speed at which she was filing as well because she did not have the correct tool. She asked me again if I was ready to have my nails done or if I was going somewhere else. I told her I would pay for her removing my polish, but I was leaving. She charged me $10!!! $10!!! For doing nothing but leaving my fingers in acetone and not caring about customer service whatsoever. I would never go back here if my life depended on it! Horrible people, service, and filthy environment. I went to Nails of America Baytown after the fact and they did a wonderful job!!

I went in today 7/5/15 and had a horrible experience. I went to get a shellac manicure and this was supposed to be a great treat myself day however it was horrible. Three different people worked on my nails, no one filed them properly, just clipped. No one pushed back my cuticles. A different lady who was working on my cuticles cut me then put something my nail that made it burn all the way to the knuckle. I asked for a glitter accent nail and it looks like something I could have done at home. If I could cry I would but I’m too angry. I will never go here again.
