This review is based on electrolysis services only. After dealing with facial hair for 13 years and a previous failed electrolysis experience I decided to give Nidia a chance. The results were catastrophic. At least the first electrologist I went to was just plucking my hair and taking my money. Nidia burned my skin and scarred me as she does not know how to do the technique properly (insertion and heat). By month 4, I thought I was developing a terrible ezcema reaction but after stopping her sessions and seeing my dermatologist she confirmed Nidia had burned my skin and I would require other treatments to fix my face. I am now with a new technician who is highly skilled and I’ve seen results after just treatment #3. Please do your research and make sure the person you go see is properly trained. Best of luck to all women out there suffering with this condition.

I am absolutely in love with the results so far. I am getting electrolysis done here and I can tell you she is the best. I went to 4 different electrolysists before deciding which one of them should I pick and I am 100% sure I made the right choice when I picked Nimia. I have dark skin, very sensitive and I am prone to scars and my skin takes forever to heal. I was very worried about getting electrolysis because of that but Nimia recommended me some creams (I got them at Walgreens but you can buy them pretty much anywhere) and THEY ARE AMAZING! I don’t have not even one scar. I use them day and night. They make the healing so fast and with no hyperpigmentation. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I totally would. She has more than 40 years of experience. She cares about her patience and she explains everything from the first day. The process itself, I’m not going to lie it hurts. I use a numbing cream before my appointment and I take Advil or acetaminophen before coming in and I still feel it. Nimia gives you a bag with ice so you can numb it a little more during the procedure and it really helps. It is not that bad but you can definitely feel it. It is 100% worth it. If you’re interested in getting electrolysis, don’t look any further. This is the best place you can get it at.

Fantastic treatment! Súper profesional all my unwanted hairs gone! She works incredibly fast, I have been to other electrologists and by far she is the best! She is honest and let’s you know truthfully how long everything will take and the effects (if any) of electrolysis on your skin. I have seen other comments saying that it was improper treatment, but I can from experience say she has the best and quickest technique. She gives a free consultation where she analyzes your skin and hair type, and explains The possible effects on your skin according to the type of hair that you have. like if you have large pores and over plucked hair, the hair is actually called terminal hair which is similar texture or even stronger than pubic hair (the type of hair I have on my face). If I had come any later on in my life, in my 50s or so after plucking the hair for decades, my pores will have become open, she explained that pore would be really extended and would have taken years to contract back into its natural size. Just like when you remove blackheads that the pore remains open, it is the same with the terminal hair. Not to mention the older you are and closer to menopause the collagen naturally produces slower and makes the healing of the pore take much longer than someone of the age of 15-35. I have been on my hair removal journey since I was 15 moving from plucking, waxing then laser and finally the best:electrolysis, the only one that has 100% success rate in removing hairs, but of course this is a process that takes a while because of the areas and hair cycles as they grow in different speeds. The strongest hair on the body (especially after years of plucking and hormonal changes) is the chin hairs, it could take from one and a half years to three, which to me is nothing as I’ll make progress and eventually have no more! You decide upon this if you want to start your hairless journey, but I say start now because the sooner the better!

I started with removing my mustache at 25 and let’s just say that through the years I’ve become a hairless expert – with that said, I had been extremely faithful to Magaly until I discovered this place.
