Critical: ProfessionalismI decided to get mid-back feed in braids. I purchased the hair and when I arrived at the salon I was told (by Stephanie) that the hair I purchased was too long and if she used it, it would be an extra $40. I do not understand why this is not put as a disclaimer on the booking site. A shampoo/blow dry is included in the price. Which is great……if the stylist actually knows how to do hair. She was yanking at my hair with the comb and the blow dryer the entire time. When blow drying, she didn’t part my hair at all…which caused it to be tangled and her have to comb out each little section each time she parted it. Also, when I went to go pay for my braids, there was a 6% service fee which costed $10 extra (once again, it would have been great if this was a disclaimer). I decided to get mid-back feed in braids. I purchased the hair and when I arrived at the salon I was told (by Stephanie) that the hair I purchased was too long and if she used it, it would be an extra $40. Critical: Quality, ValuePoor interpersonal skills. Doesn’t know how to comb and two strand twist natural hair properly. Paid $115! Learned from my mistake and will spread it as far as possible. I need a trim from all the breakage now. She combs from the middle of the hair instead of starting from the ends. Her two strand twisting method is bizzare. She starts off with braids, then section off the two strands, twist them up like dreads, then wrap them around each other without having to twist the individual strands in between the process. Maybe it’s a method to get done with it faster. If I pay someone to do my hair, I’d expect to deliver! My ends were totally neglected, as you can see in the photo. No moisture applied to the ends. Sloppy work! Frankly, I did a better job than Stephanie. I’m glad I got the opportunity to go and finally realize that I can handle my hair on my own. There is a non-refund policy, but she can make changes within 48 hours. She already proved to me what she would do to my hair! Would not recommend for two strand twists and if you are trying to retain length. Your better off doing your own hair.P.S. your reply shows your fault. Poor interpersonal skills. Doesn’t know how to comb and two strand twist natural hair properly. Paid $115! Learned from my mistake and will spread it as far as possible. I need a trim from all the breakage now. She combs from the middle of the hair instead of starting from the ends. Her two strand twisting method is bizzare.
