I had an incredible experience with Darren and G at Ego Salon. Another salon burned my hair and chunks fell out. I was scared to go anywhere till my friend told me about Darren and his salon. I drove an hour to get there and it was worth it. From start to finish, every detail was perfect. The support staff are delightful and welcoming. There were refreshments, merchandise, gifts, styling products and comfortable seating. Even the hair sinks have a shock absorber so there was no neck or back pain. This salon also offers a myriad of services like facials, spray tan, makeup and lash extensions. Darren gave me exactly what I wanted based on photo ideas. He listened to my lifestyle and job tasks and how I wore my hair to place the highlights accordingly. My vibrant hair color shows up or styled down. My hair is healthy, soft and with no damage. I consider this a high end salon but the prices were very fair for the high quality service and products. Customer for life.

I wanted the ends to reflect the root color. It sounds easy enough but 2 previous stylists could not get it done. Darrin spent 7 plus hours doing corrective coloring for my hair! The man literally touched every hair on my head. My hair feels soft and smells incredible. As you can see the results were nothing short of phenomenal.His staff and the atmosphere in the salon was upbeat and positive (loved the music too!) and it felt like I was surrounded by a ‘family.’ Everyone helps everyone else out. They all support each other and it shows.I would recommend this salon highly and have found a new hair home! For my first salon visit, I had a balayage done by Darren! I am soo pleased with my results it came out absolutely beautiful! Darren was so kind and informative he went over everything with me throughout the entire process. They had such a pleasant atmosphere, I felt so comfortable and welcome throughout my entire experience. I was offered drinks multiple times throughout my time there and I thought it was so kind how they take time to ensure you are comfortable! Every single member of the staff was so kind & helpful! I have never had a salon be so sweet and make me feel at home like they did, nor have I had a stylist like Darren go over every step of the way with me like he did! Having him consult with what I wanted so thoroughly, and then let me know what he was going to do toner-wise, was so reassuring. I may be a bit monotonous in my review but I cannot express enough how much I would recommend this salon to anyone! Their knowledge and experience is so refreshing! I cannot wait to come back for my next balayage process!

My stylist, Emma Julia Almani, took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted for both my hair and makeup. Both times she by far exceeded my expectations! I’ve been getting Keratin treatments on my hair for a very, very long time. My hair is extremely long and very curly. I had noticed that (at the place I was previously going to) the keratin just wasn’t lasting and my hair was a hot mess a month after the treatment. I decided to stop going there and just ride out the frizz that was taking over my entire head.

I got the best haircut I have ever had, and I’m over 70, so that’s saying a lot!! My stylist Pixie was just wonderful. She listened to what I hoped to achieve and made some suggestions. I was also asking for help with the color of my hair, which had grown out over the last two years in multi shades of gray. (I had box-color blonde for many years). I followed her advice and couldn’t be more pleased!
