A leader in fashion, we have set ourselves apart by demanding the highest ongoing education from our team. We have sent team members to New York and Las Vegas and brought educators to our facility. I was recommended to EW after a friend had her hair cut there. I’ve been in Portland for just over a year and hadn’t found any great hair salon and was getting frustrated. The salon itself is really cute with white walls and big black framed mirrors and a modern feel. It was very clean and bright! I had an appointment with Sydney and she was fabulous! So sweet and really listened to what I wanted. We talked about the possibility of bangs which I was a little terrified of. I haven’t had bangs since I was a young girl and I’ve always wanted them, but was too afraid of how it would turn out. Sydney was really confident that it would look great so I said OK! It turned out fabulous and I feel so confident with my new look. She was absolutely amazing and the quality of the cut is top notch. I can’t wait to go back!

I cannot recommend this hair salon enough! It’s very rare that I leave a hair salon feeling happy and excited about my cut, and that is exactly how I felt after having Parker cut my hair. He took his time to understand what I wanted in a cut and he was able to achieve exactly that. He took his time during my cut and not once did I feel like he was rushing. Five stars, for sure!

For 20 years plus I’ve been going to Edward Wadsworth for hair. For years prior I frequented the new and trendy salons downtown. After going to EW for the first time, I never went anywhere else. I’ve never had one bad experience and I’m there every five weeks. Everyone is extremely professional and detail oriented. You can go to any stylist at EW. They are a wealth of information and passionate about what they do. Stylist remain current with all of the training they attend throughout the year all over the U.S. They are ahead of the curve with up and coming styles and colors trends. Difficult hair? No worries, they’ve got you covered. EW offers specialist who are trained to cut curly hair or thick hair, which is what I have. You will always have options at this salon, with new products and add-on services if you choose. Everyone who works there is fun and creative. I see clients of all ages when I am there. You will never be rushed and they listen to your concerns and what you want in a style and color. I’ve changed my hair frequently. So many colors, styles, lengths and trends. I’ve always walked out happy. They are fabulous at fixing issues that may have been as a result of a bad salon experience. I’ve also gone there for special occasion blowouts or up do’s. If you ever feel unhappy about your experience, do not hesitate to let them know. Customer service is important to this salon and they will work with you to achieve a great result. They are competitively priced. The atmosphere is hip and the music is always great! I highly recommend.

Rob did an awesome job styling my hair. From the moment that I sat down, he asked what I was looking for, and was able to interpret what I couldn’t quite put into words. He then took his time, rather than the normal run-of-the-mill, cheap haircuts. The style came out exactly how I wanted it, and I’ll happily be driving the 30 minutes each month to see him again.

I am an actor, and I came to Edward Wadsworth to get my hair cut and then styled for headshots. My hair is very fine and difficult to style well, but Don did a fabulous job and my headshots turned out awesome! They even featured my headshot on their Instagram account (which I love, since I am a lover of the spotlight, of course)! I’ve had appointments with both Rob and Don, and both were very friendly and took their time with me. Front desk staff are very customer-oriented, and the place is top notch without being pretentious.

This is the first time I’ve gotten a haircut that I’ve actually liked. I’m a long haired guy and going to the stylist is a bit of a danger. If they screw it up, I lose years of hair growth. Windy did a fantastic job and I will definitely be going back here from now on.
