Worst service ever!!! My father went one time at 8 o’clock in the morning to get his dreads done. (Emphasis on that 8:00 part). One of the workers that usually does his hair told him to come early so that he can be the first to get his hair done. He went and had a 12 hour proses to get his dreads done and had 3 different people on his head.My father was supposed to get his hair done first but the worker tricked him into going to the beauty supply store that was closed(that she knew was closed) ,then when he got back she told him that here where two people in front of him so he had to wait. He did not get home until 8:30 at night. Mind you he was there waiting for her before she even got there and before the store opened. I was honestly baffled he he called and told me what happened. Never going there EVER again.

The jamaican ladies that claimed they are church believers are disrespectful. One, how are you braiding shop or beauty shop and don’t have the hair? two, if you are providing a braiding service, shouldn’t the hair be included free of charge? I went to other shops, they have their own hair. hair is included. three, one of jamaican lady said she would do my hair for $150, no problem. then when we to went another shop, she changed the price, plus i have to buy the hair that i want. so im like okay. four, i attempted to buy the hair color i wanted and she goes and say “why did you buy this pack, you’re not getting it so long” so i looked at her like excuse me, so she INSISTED to find another one shorter or looked for another style. so i went back to the beauty supply store and look for another shorter one (they didn’t had any fyi), so i looked up another style for her do. when i went to the shop, i waited about 10-15 minutes for her to come back and show her the style, so i finally showed her the style. she goes and say “sorry, i don’t do hearts” but on their business’s instagram page there’s a style with hearts. anyways, so i said i take regular knotless then she goes and say ‘what size ?’ i told her ‘medium and mid back’ instead of negotiating with a good price she immediately says ‘210, do you have the hair?” knowing damn well i don’t. then she continues and say get ‘jumbo knotless’, why offer me a service that i didn’t ask for? all in all, but experience was horrible , they are disrespectful and distasteful customer service.

I bought 4 wigs from Edith’s hair online . I paid through PayPal which was what they requested. I am yet to receive that order. Sent an email but no response. Tried calling the # provided , out of service. I did found an Edith’s Hair located in Brooklyn NY. Turned out they had no affiliation and suggested that the whole thing was a scam. They have been receiving calls like mine at least once per week! I would like this information to go viral so no one else falls for this SCAM! The sight seem so legitimate. There is an email address, a phone # and a Lexington Ave address. They even send you a receipt for your purchase.. that’s enough to fool even a smart person. These people should not be allowed to go on. Please , please someine, do something !

One Star because Edith, The Owner is Rude, has a nasty attitude, arrogant and disrespectful, to customers and her workers. The only reason me and my kids continue to go here is because everyone here can do hair. I would have given more stars if it wasn’t for her nasty customer service. She needs a lesson or two in customer service and hospitality.
