I had Melanie cut and color my hair, and she was wonderful!! She is so talented and is very good at what she does. Very friendly and easy to talk with too. I’ve been searching for a good quality hair salon for a while, and I’m so happy that I choose Edgewater Studio. I had Melanie cut and color my hair, and she was wonderful!! She is so talented and is very good at what she does. Very friendly and easy to talk with too. There are so many services available and at affordable prices. I will definitely be back!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went in recently to get long layers as I’ve been trying to grow my hair out and keep length but also not have my hair feel so heavy and I was so extremely happy with the outcome. Sara Riley is truly amazing! She stayed focused on what I came in for, and asked me questions along the way to make sure I was satisfied. I also went in to get a minor root touch up as I have a streak of hair that goes white, and she matched it so well you can’t even tell. I had previous used store root touch ups, however I can’t go back to that. I went in recently to get long layers as I’ve been trying to grow my hair out and keep length but also not have my hair feel so heavy and I was so extremely happy with the outcome. Sara Riley is truly amazing! She stayed focused on what I came in for, and asked me questions along the way to make sure I was satisfied. Critical: Professionalism, QualityAbsolutely don’t recommend. Called on a Wednesday to make an appointment for that Saturday. Explained to the person I spoke with what I was looking for and the length of my hair, she recommended a toner to change my color from blonde back to carmel-brunette. Arrived shortly before my appointment & was told my appointment was for a cut only….should have just walked out at that point.The stylist sat me down, I explained to her that I had recently had a very horrible experience with a different stylist at a different salon, who had lightened my hair too much and that I now wanted to correct it and bring it back down to a caramel brunette. She seemed very flustered, anxious, and made it evident that she had triple booked herself. She went ahead and started the color. After almost 3 hours, I walked out of the salon & when I got home, I realized my hair was almost black….with very ashy looking undertones. Completely dissatisfied with the quality of the work, the unprofessionalism of the staff, and won’t be back. Absolutely don’t recommend. Called on a Wednesday to make an appointment for that Saturday. Explained to the person I spoke with what I was looking for and the length of my hair, she recommended a toner to change my color from blonde back to carmel-brunette.
