Drew had been growing the top of his hair long to get braids. I found Edge wise barber shop in a Google maps search. I made the appointment online was very easy. I got Samara for his braids at 9 am, Chicago for his haircut at 10am. They both did a great job. Drew’s hair looks great. We will be coming back for sure.

I haven’t gotten my hair professionally cut, let alone touched in 12 years! That being said I was in perfect hands at Edgewise Barbershop & Braiding Salon. Ronda whom I met with first washed and retwisted my dreads neatly and then Chicago gave me a fade to match, from my sides to the back of my head and back to my beard! They were more than polite, very professional, and were more than fair on prices! If you’re looking for a clean cut or have your hair done up, this is your place for sure!!

I’ve been looking for a good barbershop for awhile and this is the place to be!! I recommend driving all the way down here to get a fresh cut from chicago! Never thought I could get such a fresh fade at a barber shop. Will continue to get my cuts at Top Rank!!!! Chi is amazing at his cuts! My boyfriend and son got their hair cut by him and they both came out looking super clean and crispy. My boyfriend old barber don’t compare to how good Chi does his cuts. 10/10!! Highly recommend. +1 for working well with a chill experienced cut kid

I was hesitant to go to this shop because I’ve had the same barber for several years. I needed a haircut before my vacation trip, but my barber wasn’t available. I had been here before for a consultation with ShirLay for loc extensions, so I felt comfortable enough to go back for a cut. I scheduled my haircut with Chicago, and the end results had me feeling like the biggest cheater on the planet. I hate to say it, but Chicago just stole a client from my barber. Not only is his work phenomenal, but his vibe is calming and inviting. His prices are reasonable, and he takes his time. I didn’t feel rushed out of his chair, and he went above and beyond. Though I got a regular haircut, I left feeling like I received VIP treatment. Side note: as a woman, I appreciate that I didn’t have to endure listening to typical “barbershop talk.” I can’t say the same for other shops I’ve been to. The professionalism here is off the charts.
