I was a little nervous about going to a newer stylist but she did better on my haircut than even some more experienced stylists that I’ve been to. Peyton was absolutely amazing, she totally listened to what I wanted and ended up doing a phenomenal job on my haircut. I was nervous, as I’ve had experiences with other places that didn’t do a great job or flat out butchered my hair. My experience at The Edge was wonderful and I will definitely be back and will request Peyton to do my hair. Not only is she talented with hair, she’s friendly and fun to talk to as well. I found my new salon and stylist! Peyton was absolutely amazing, she totally listened to what I wanted and ended up doing a phenomenal job on my haircut. I was nervous, as I’ve had experiences with other places that didn’t do a great job or flat out butchered my hair. My experience at The Edge was wonderful and I will definitely be back and will request Peyton to do my hair. Not only is she talented with hair, she’s friendly and fun to talk to as well. Critical: QualityPaid $145 for a horrible haircut and highlights. Went back a second time and cut was worse than the first. Highlights were supposed to be blond, now just gray. Avoid the newbies, i.e. Peyton. Worst hair experience in my 66 years. When the stylist doesn’t even give you a mirror to look at the back speaks volumes.Service: Haircut

There was an older lady (I am very sorry I forgot her name) who was super friendly and asked me to come in the same day for a consultation. I have a lot of hair so that did not bother me at all. I got an appointment with Karen the following Friday. Karen was friendly, sociable and paitient. After being on her feet for 7 hours highlighting my hair, yes I have a lot of hair, she had cut too much of my hair off. It was not the style we had discussed but I was so tired that I did not notice until after I got home. So why 5 stars? Peyton, the touch free and very clean bathroom, the friendly staff, and the owner is why. While I was getting my hair done Peyton got me a coffee out of her own pocket. Peyton also noticed that there was a spot during the toning process and let Karen know. I have read some reviews and I want those of you reading this to remember being young and first starting a job when you weren’t as experienced. By the way this young lady Peyton works two jobs. Peyton is so willing to learn. Her attitude and the friendly staff is why I will be back. When I was not happy with my hair I called the owner the next day. She managed to squeeze me in the following day (the day after I called) to darken and give my hair a little more shape. I know it’s hard to confront issues, at least it is for me. The owner was very sorry and thanked me for calling instead of leaving a bad review. When I went back to finish what was started I was not made to feel bad for my confusion and frustration (or anyone else’s for that matter). They tried to make it right and hair grows back. My only gripe is make sure you ask whoever has been there awhile if they would like a glass of water and maybe keep your tired feet comments to yourself.
