I was lucky to get to know Sarah and Ederra salon! My hair is thick and curly! It’s really hard to style it specially during summer! Sarah suggested the Brazilian treatment after gave me a cut for my PhD graduation! After treatment all the freeze of my hair is gone and it feels light and my life is easier. I found this Salon and all the employees very professional and friendly. They hear you out and explains cons and pros of your intended cut. Highly recommend you to have your cut and styling at Ederra salon!

After trying a few salons in the area, I found Sarah and have been going to her for several years now (having followed her from her last salon to Ederra). She listens, gives great suggestions, and always goes the extra mile to help me with color before big events, or to make my smoothing treatment last longer. Now at Ederra I also go to Maura and she is terrific too!! Maura has worked with me on color to try various levels of intensity, and she knows exactly how to get to the result I ask for. Both Sarah and Maura are very talented stylists and I am always confident I will leave the salon with a haircut and color that I like. Also love Ashley, who works with me on scheduling, which can be challenging with my work travel. This is a great salon!!

Maura has done my hair multiple times and she nails every time! If I’m not sure what I want, she’ll talk me through options, look at Pinterest with me and talk about what works with where my hair color currently is. One of the occasions she did my hair, I was starving and she fed me snacks. The entire staff is so welcoming and having a conversation with them is like you’ve been friends for years. I love this place and I highly recommend Maura/Ederra!!

I moved to the Charlottesville area 2 years ago. Since being in town I had difficulty finding a place to get a great hair cut. Than I found Ederra Salon and couldn’t be happier. The place has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and all of the stylists who I have worked with have given me great haircuts. Highly recommend!

The ladies at Ederra sure know what they are doing. They take the time to listen to your struggles with styling and color fades, take into account the amount of effort and time you have to spend on styling your hair on a daily basis, then give you the best cut, color, and style of your life! I will still commute from Richmond to come see the stylists at Ederra. I trust them wholeheartedly and couldnt be more impressed everytime I go in.
