Melissa is a wonderful person and a hair stylist. I have curly and coarse hair and always had hard time styling it. She took time to listen to my concern and gave me best advice and the hair cut. Melissa understands that those of us with curly hair need more than just a cut – we need educated information instead of just what we can find online. Melissa provided that in spades! I have curly hair (2c/3a ish) and had been DREADING getting my hair cut because there are not a lot of people around here that know how to deal with it properly. Melissa does not have curly hair, but let me tell you she cares about your curly hair and knows how to take care of it. If you have curly hair, go see her! I had just left my hometown saloon where I had gotten my hair colored / fried . I washed my hair and I cried when looked in the mirror, my hair was yellow, gold brass red and black on top . Melissa helped me achieve my ideal curly hair– she is the only stylist in the area knowledgeable about the American Wave method which came out beautifully. Sydney gave me a regular haircut today. Both women are fantastic at their craft. I never envisioned myself to regularly go to a salon but they make it worth it.

I’m very picky about who does my hair. So much so that I usually go years without a proper cut. I did a lot of research on salons in the C-U area and finally decided to try Eden’s Rain and I’m so happy I did! My curls are back to being defined and full of volume. Melissa listened to what I wanted and gave me advice on how best to wash and style my hair. If you have curly hair I would highly recommend Eden’s Rain. I felt safe the entire time I was in the salon. Everything was clean, masks are worn at all times. It was such a great experience.
