Critical: Professionalism, QualityI just moved to the area and was so excited that a nail salon with decent reviews was so close to my new apartment! I made an appointment for Friday right after work. I received a call that afternoon asking if I could come in 15 minutes later than my appointment (no problem! And I really appreciated the communication). However, after I arrived for my appointment at the 15 minutes later as they requested, I still waited 30 minutes before anyone saw or greeted me. I had to ask where to sit because no one acknowledged me when I walked in. Then the no chip manicure took way longer than it should have. When I went to pay it was $44! Way higher than the price quoted to me when I made the appointment. I was told it was because of the no-chip soak off and I was told that this charge occurs every single visit. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never had that situation. Then after my very expensive no-chip manicure, it chipped after only 4 days. I just moved to the area and was so excited that a nail salon with decent reviews was so close to my new apartment! I made an appointment for Friday right after work. I received a call that afternoon asking if I could come in 15 minutes later than my appointment (no problem! And I really appreciated the communication). She has strict focus on her client’s body, with tremendous strength and sensitivity. She has an excellent ability to seek out her client’s body weaknesses, and works hard to heal them, but without any over-extension, or pain. I plan to make very regular re-visits, because I have considered massage therapy as a vital ongoing process. I expect her to be highly sought by clients on the North Shore. Cost of sessions up to two hours, or less, is very reasonable, and atmosphere is very comforting. I am originally from Evanston, and street and municipal lot parking is very easy, with ample fun restaurants within one block. She has an excellent ability to seek out her client’s body weaknesses, and works hard to heal them, but without any over-extension, or pain.
