I used to live in Southfield and got my hair cut here all the time. I moved to Royal Oak 2 years ago and I tried almost every barber, including Detroit Grooming, local barbers, Art of Shaving, and Lady Jane’s. Vern at Edd’s barber shop has always done the best job out of any barber, and I will be going back to him from now on even though it’s out of the way. He is very meticulous and takes his time to give you the best haircut. He prefers appointments because it is just him there and he takes his time with his customers to do a good job. He is reasonably priced (much cheaper then Art of Shaving and Detroit Grooming) and he gives the absolute best hair cut.
