Went for a haircut here for the first time and asked for a mid skin fade with a trim up top and square shape, and not to cut it down too short. Worst haircut I’ve had in years, the barber did not listen to what I wanted and basically did his own thing, cut my hair way too short and did not give me a square shape, it turned out more like a high skin fade with an egg shape and by the time I saw, it was too late. at the end he tried to say it’s my fault bc my hair sticks up and “I asked for a skin fade so this is how short it will be.” I’ve been getting mid skin fades for years and it has never turned out this way bc my barbers always listened when I said “don’t cut it too short up top and keep the part a little longer” and I’ve never had a barber not listen to what I want. This was my first time at this shop and it will be my last. This was my haircut for vacation and now I look terrible. Added pictures for what I got vs what I asked for.

Rushed service, and left with a very poor uneven beard. Literally could’ve done better if I had done it myself. Wasted my beard progress, and had to shave it once i got home because it wasn’t fixable and very uneven. A shaven beard was a better option than what they did. Felt like i wasted money and left upset. Would not recommend a beard trim/lineup from this place. Many other barbers around for same price who know what they are doing. You should be leaving a barber shop feeling confident, and not insecure and have to fix it once you get home.

Great place for a solid haircut! Eddy is great at what he does and you’ll rarely leave disappointed. That being said, he may not remember the kind of cut he gave you last time, even if you give show him a picture. Not his fault seeing as the place is extremely popular, but would be nice if I could get the same cut consistently.

Jacob was great. His recommendation comes with experience. First time getting a cut here, needed something more elevated and professional. Jacob was able to help me out, and he exceeded my expectations. The paste he used to lift up my hair was amazing. I walked away with one. Can’t wait to come back and keep this elevated look going. 11/10 recommend to get a haircut, best in Mineola NY.
