As a newcomer to the South Riding area, I’ve been searching for a hair stylist/ salon. I am so thrilled to have found Eclips-South Riding! The talent in this salon is superb through my own experience and my observations as I watched others. My last appointment was with Shayla and she was the sweetest person and did a wonderful job on my hair. My shampoo with Shayla felt like a spa massage. As a Level 1 stylist, she is still growing in her craft and what I appreciated most of all was her willingness to seek assistance from another stylist when she needed it. You can save BIG BUCKS by giving the Rising Stars and Level 1 stylists a chance. The other reason I love this place is the diverse, inclusive setting they offer. There are mixed cultures and a variety of people served by this salon and it was such a pleasant thing to see. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time at Eclips. I made an appt with Nakia (her Instagram name is lay_slayzz, look her up) and she was amazing! She took her time with me: we reviewed several inspiration pictures, she listened to what my final look wanted to be and away she went. (She specializes in working with blondes). She explained everything she was doing to my hair along the way (loved that). My hair was very dry n damaged when I came in. She gave me a fresh (much needed) haircut (took off the dead dry ends etc) and it looks soo refreshed and healthy now. Check out the after pictures.

I had grown out my hair completely from any dyes and hadn’t gotten my hair done in years, but I was ready for a change. She worked with me to achieve exactly what I wanted and you can truly tell that she wants the best for her clients! She even worked on my hair an extra hour to perfect the toning, which I really appreciated how honest she is with her work.
