I was really looking forward to this little hair makeover. It’s been over a year since I have had my hair done and almost 8 years since I have decided on short hair. I feel that my experience in the salon was fairly decent. The girl was very sweet and had good advice on things I can do to improve my hair. The salon was extremely quiet and there was no music playing for half of the 3+ hours I was there. Online, the prices say $95+ for Balayage and $27+ for a hair cut and style. My hair was cut above my shoulders prior to coloring and it is extremely thin. I was charged $217 for the haircut and balayage as well as an additional bleach charge because more product was “necessary” on my short, thin hair. I was shocked at this price because I have had MANY balayage haircuts in the past and had hair down to my waist and never paid even close to this much. The thing that bothered me more than the price was that I can hardly tell that I had my hair colored… it is as she said “it looks sun-kissed at the ends” but for that price and the picture I showed her for reference showed a bright blonde it should have at least been noticeable. I am really confused how all of that product did not produce results on my hair. When I called to kindly talk about how I felt about my hair I was just told that they were really sorry and if I want to come in for color correction I could but it will cost me… I have never had a hair service like this before and am extremely disappointed in my results.They were not interested in doing anything to help me feel better about this situation. I have attached my before and after pictures. Please do not rely on the prices on the website to estimate your appointment cost because in my experience it was double.

Imagine you go to get your hair colored, pay a lot of money to do so, and you are dissatisfied with the result—specifically the shade of color which did not match at all the reference given. That’s alright, it’s just hair, surely it can be fixed, and so you make a new appointment. Even though it was the stylist that got it wrong in the first place, you request no refund for the original service, only that the corrective service be completed at a 50% discount. This seemed to me a more than reasonable compromise given the circumstance.

I love this place! The first time I came, Brenna cut my hair, and the second time Haven cut it. Both did a great job (did well on my curtain bangs, even with my annoying cowlick) and I enjoyed their company. Everyone at the salon is very sweet, good music is always playing, the place is clean, and prices are reasonable! Haircut

I’ve came here before and always had a pretty good experience and thought it was decently priced. Got my haircut and color yesterday and they charged me so much extra because my hair is long. They even wanted to charge me more after I paid $150 but they forgot to ring it out. I had a trim and had my hair that is already dark dyed dark lol

My friend and I both got haircuts from Brenna. She does not know how to give men’s haircuts. Despite clear instructions, she messed both of our haircuts up. My sides are completely uneven, and my friend asked for 1 inch off the top but about 2 inches were taken off (only in some places) so it looks completely lopsided as well. We are definitely choosing a new place to get haircuts after this.

The rates are fair and the place is very clean. However, your experience will depend greatly on which stylist you get, which is common enough with salons. Some of them are very bubbly and considerate while others tiptoe up to the line of being cranky and standoffish, especially if you don’t buy the products they want you to buy. I very much admired their commitment to health and safety throughout the pandemic, but recently I went in for a haircut and heard several of the stylists commenting that they didn’t care if anyone wore masks in the stores anymore. They also mocked people who were still concerned. This, unfortunately means I will not be coming back until the general pandemic has eased to a greater degree. If at all.

Took my daughter for a color and trim. Color was decent 7/10. Trim is going to need redone as it has some odd lengths and the under layer is about 3/4 inch longer than the rest of the hair 3/10 (I do understand that the trim was at the end, and I think everyone, me included, just wanted it done by this time). Price changed twice from estimate and ended up being about 50% over estimate 0/10. Stylist was very nice and did her best to make it right 9/10. Time estimate given over phone was SEVERELY wrong (was male employee), was quoted 3 hours, took between 6 and 7. 0/10. Only parking available is 1 hour curbside or library parking garage for 3 dollars an hour after first hour. 0/10.
