Dayton did an outstanding job on my hair! I was transitioning from a grown out blonde that was quite warm in tone and I was ready to finally go back to my ashy natural brown. She absolutely nailed it. I’ve been wanting cool/ashy tones for a while now and she was able to pull it off and exceeded my expectations. The cut she did on my hair came out amazing as well. She was personable and welcoming and made me feel comfortable in the salon. She told me what she was doing the entire time and never left me second guessing. On top of that, I feel like it’s very honest pricing and I appreciate that. After having hair I wasn’t a fan of for months I can confidently say I’m happy with my hair again all thanks to Dayton.

My teen daughter asked for curtain bangs, face framing layers, and layers at the back and showed the inspiration picture. The hairdresser even asked if she wants the layers to look dramatic and since my daughter has long & thick hair, she said yes. The haircut she got was completely opposite of dramatic. It’s subtle as can be. It’s basically some face-framing layers that start 1 inch below the chin and back is pretty much just straight across (you can barely see any layering in the back). After the haircut I asked if the curtain bangs can be shorter (start at mid-ear or at below the ear) but the hairdresser said to leave it as is and I didn’t want to argue. Not the look my daughter was going for.

I have gone to Richelle at the Waunakee Ecco Salon now on two separate visits. One for initially getting my hair cut and getting curtain bangs, and the other visit just for a trim up. Both times I have had a wonderful experience and she has done an amazing job with getting the exact look I desire based off of the photo inspiration shown; in addition to washing and curling my hair afterwards. She also listens when I relay how much length I would prefer to be taken off which is incredibly important to me as not all hair dressers do! She is very sweet and I will continue going back to her as long as I am in the Waunakee / Madison area! 🙂

I don’t usually review but in this case felt the need. I’m new to the area and tried the salon for the first time for a root touch up on my blonde hair. Well now I have purple roots. After she shampooed me, I could tell there was an something wrong by the way she was searching through my hair but she didn’t say anything. When I sat back down in the chair and looked, it took me saying something for her to acknowledge it. She even tried to blame my hair and then said that “some people would like it” I can say that this has never happened to me before and it’s not my hair. When I voiced my distaste, she agreed to come in the next day and “fix” it. Well I did and needless to say, I still have purple hair and it’s not fixed. At that point I just wanted to get out of there because I knew she had no idea what she was doing. So I’m living with terrible purple hair. Beware.
