Queen V, a hidden gem here in Nampa, Idaho. The best nail tech in town!!! I would know, I’ve been getting my nails done every couple weeks (because that’s all they ever lasted) since I was 16yrs old. I’ve been to most of the nail salons here in nampa with an exception to a couple until I found V. She’s has always given me exactly what I’ve asked for, actual BLACK nails (not blue the second you walk out of the salon), the correct size of nail for my nail beds (not big and bulky square nails that make your hands look huge) and she does not skip over on filing (I love the filing) to save time. The vibe at her table is my kind of vibe Her energy is too notch And we could honestly talk for hours with plenty of conversation, you’ll leave feeling like her best friend✌ If she needs something special for your set of nails (she has a couple times for mine) and she don’t have it, it’s there your next appointment! She’s not cheap, she will charge you accordingly but it’s worth it! My nails have lasted me a good month and still looked amazing and lasted without lifting or breakage. A three week fill is perfect for me✨

Vanessa’s work is phenomenal, she is creative, kind, and caring. By far the absolute BEST experience I have EVER had getting my nails or hair done. She’s the reason I come to this salon and will be there reason I continue to come to this salon. I literally drive 2 hours just to see Vanessa and it’s more than worth it.

I do appreciate her working on a Saturday but Cynthia was almost 30 minutes late for the scheduled appointment. It took almost 8 hours to complete our hair. The environment was not professional. I was even charged $25 more than quoted and was not given an option to skip a 15% tip. I stated I didn’t want a cut then agreed to a 1/4″ trim on my tips only but my hair was cut 2″ uneven and step layered another 2″. I survived borderline stage 4 cancer and worked so hard to get my hair back just to have it chopped off.

At first the experience was great, had Cynthia and she took care of my daughter’s nails and did a great job, so we scheduled to get my daughter’s hair done Cynthia stated that with the bleaching, coloring and styling it will be about 3 hours and the appointment was made at 10am. Day of the appointment I dropped her off just before 10am and I told my daughter to call me 1/2 hour before she finishes up so I can pick her up. At 12:30 my daughter text me saying she had 30 min. left, so I’m on my way. At 1240 she said she was done that Cynthia had another appointment walk in so that she couldn’t finish styling but that she was going to giver her a free manicure at a later time. When I got to Eccentrix she by my request had taken 10.00 off the 75.00 Bill and a free manicure, however my daughter’s hair was still dripping wet, dye on her shirt. I was upset but figured we’d give another chance. Today she had an appointment at 1pm, I was there when the time was agreed upon and reaffirmed, however my daughter gets dropped off only to have Cynthia missing, coworkers said she left that we missed our appointment. Cynthia was called and was extremely rude stating “she doesn’t chase down freebies”. This place went from top notch to slum in a matter of days and we will never return and will make sure we tell our friends of this experience as well.
