Ingrid started off as a great sylist when sewing in my extensions. After several hair extension installations I moved to allowing her to make units for me. Which was the worst thing I could have ever done. Prior to her making the last unit for me I went to her house (she was no longer in her salon anymore) so she could measure my head accordingly and I left my extensions with her so she can being to make my unit. A week later she told me my unit was ready for pickup. She left the unit in a bag on a chair in front of her door. I picked my unit up and went home. At that time I didn’t feel it was a need to try it on because she “measured my head”. When I got home and tried it on it didnt fit. I proceeded to send her a message via FB (she didn’t give her telephone number to customers anymore). To told her that my unit didn’t fit and she given me various interventions to try which didn’t work. I have had several units made by her and other stylists and I can say I know when a unit fits or doesn’t fit. So she finally said to come over so she can see what’s going on. At that point she saw that the unit indeed didn’t fit and said oh you have a “big ole head”. In my mind I’m thinking you measured my head so this shouldn’t be an issue. So at that point she reconstructed the unit by adding more hair net and hair to make the units larger and using bobby pins to secure it which worked for the moment. Then the next day I went to put my unit on and it didn’t feel secure. A couple of days passed and I noticed that even with the bobby pins it want holding my unit in place. At this point I’m very unsatisfied because I paid her over $200 to make me a custom unit and there was nothing custom about the unit I received. So I reached back out to her to let her know That it still doesnt fit and if she can make the unit over, she never responded. Ten or so days later I sent her another message telling her that I’m to assume she’s not going to do anything in regards to fixing the unit. She then sends me a message back saying I need to diassemble the unit, purchase a hair cap/net, and other instructions including leaving it at her door. I sent her a message back saying I was out of town and I would do it when i returned. When i was ready to drop it off at her house I went to send her a message via FB and she had blocked me. So at that point how was I to communicate with her in regards to my units…I wasn’t going to just pop up at her personal residence. I said to myself oh well that was money lost and you live and learn. That was VERY unprofessional in the way she handled the situation. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND my dog being styled by her!!!!!
