The best salon ever!!! I love them! I am client and friend since they arrived here in Miami, 2015. Nobody knows how to make hair like them! Emerson and Gisele are amazing professionals. Today, I tried a new mask from Kérastase called Chroma Hair Mask. My hair looks beautiful! I love how nourished my hair feels and of course, less frizz! Highly recommend this mask! Thank you Emerson and Gisele for always bringing the most advance product in the market to us. Love you, guys!

Truly the best hair salon in Miami. Emerson is extremely attentive, kind, and does impeccable work. Does the process of a full head of balayage take a full day of work? Yes but that is not a salon issue, it is just part of it. Is it expensive? Sure but you pay for what you get. The salon & the whole team are incredible. The service, the snacks, the multiple people working on all sections of your hair. They make you feel like home & I have been doing balayage with Brazilian hair dressers for years and NO PLACE IN MIAMI compares to this salon.

I’ve gone here a few times, Emerson always did a good job except for last time I went. Every single time I go in the morning, I wait for him for at least 45 minutes to an hour to get to work. Why make an appointment if you won’t be there? Never made sense. Also, the customer service is HORRIBLE. They leave you at the sink or in your chair for hourssssss, I mean, it’s insane! Last time I went in, I asked for a natural balayage but not super blonde, I showed pictures of how he had done it in the past and he said ok. When I was done 6 and a half hours later (no hair salon takes that long for this process) my hair was so damaged and dried from the amount of bleach he used because HE ENDED UP DOING FULL HEAD HIGHLIGHTS ????? IT LOOKED HORRIBLE. His wife Gisely, is beyond rude and snobby. I rescheduled my appointment 3 times for two reasons, because it’s one hour away from where I live and I suffer from vertigo which is randomly triggered and if I have vertigo I can’t drive at all anywhere much less an hour away. The 3rd time I tried to Reschedule she called me and yelled at me on the phone saying I’m lying and I can’t do this because people are on a waitlist. I understand all that, but to say I am lying and to SCREAM at me? It’s nobody’s business what my health problems are, when I reschedule I am very general as I am not friends with anybody here. I don’t know who these people think they are, but don’t go to them. It’s Miami people, there is soooo much better for a WAY better price, don’t think this is your only option. Oh, and when I left the salon with thick platinum blonde highlights (when I asked for balayage and I am brunette) I had to pay $416. I had to fix my hair a few weeks later (at another salon of course) where I paid $325 so in total I spent an ABSURD amount of money on my hair because EC Hair Salon doesn’t care about what their customers want, they just do what they want and charge what they want. Horrible horrible horrible. Do not come here.

I’m only writing this because it has happened more then 3 times. Before any process I get a quote first by Emerson. Last time I asked the price for FULL head highlights (ROOTS ONLY) and the price was between $260 and $280. I made the appointment, after we were done I got charged $330 for highlights + $60 for treatment (that no one told me had to pay extra) + $70 tip =$460. My hair in the back was BLACK like I did nothing.

Friendly staff and beautiful salon but did not get the color I asked for, they dyed my hair extremely blonde from having black hair. I did not ask to have bleach blonde hair. I didn’t say anything because I was there for 7 hours that day and just wanted to go home. I didn’t want my hair to get anymore bleach… the first day my hair did look nice because it was styled but as soon as I washed it my hair broke the comb I was using from how clumpy it was. My hair is super fried and damaged, my hair is constantly falling out now and is super thin. It’s so sad because I’ve had thick hair my whole life. Ladies, if you want balayage go to someone that does it in sessions and cares about hair damage. (& yes prior to getting my hair bleached I used a pricey shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, hair mask and oils and treated my hair appropriately after the bleaching, but unfortunately the damage is so severe I had to cut my hair. )
