Been getting my hair braided at Ebony and Ivory with Yunia, for over 3 years. I should have put a review out a long time ago. All the Ladies here are AMAZING. Trudy is the owner, she is very kind and caring. The clients I see Trudy take care of (while getting my hair done) look fabulous. I don’t really get to see Norma too much because the days I usually get my hair done are her days off but when I do, she seems very professional and looks like she knows exactly what she’s doing :). Yunia gets my braids to look more and more beautiful every time. I always get asked “ Wow, who does your braids?” all the time. She braids with minimal pain, which is huge for me. Feels like family to me now, great vibes, and perfect location for me.

I got my hair done at this salon, for the second time. The first time she gave me exactly what I wanted but I wanted to go lighter, she did an amazing job. I was falling asleep in the chair because I was so comfortable. The outcome was gorgeous and my hair is still healthy after getting tons of bleach on it. Hairstyling

Yunia did my sew in weave today and I am so happy with how it came out! I’m new to Salt Lake City so finding a hairdresser that I can trust has been a challenge. I’m so happy to have stumbled across her positive reviews and I’m so glad that I went with my instincts and booked with her. She did a phenomenal job and was so friendly and personable. I wish I could give 10 stars!! Yunia is amazing! I started having her do my extensions and I will never go to anyone else. She is fast and pain free. I have fine blonde hair that used to break with other stylists. My hair is not breaking now and looks great! My extensions always look perfect compared to other stylists I have been to, her prices are very reasonable. A+

This was my 3rd time getting box braids done by Yunia and every time they always look beautiful and the ladies that work there are so nice. Yunia always gets me the colors that I want for the braids and I feel that the price is very good for the amount of work she puts into it. Highly recommend this salon and Yunia, especially if you’re looking to get braids!

Norma was prompt, kind, and professional. I asked for a style that she recommended Yunia for but Yunia was cold and loudly said I was going bald in front of Norma and the client she was servicing at the time. I haven’t been back since. Not a welcoming or safe environment.

Yunia is amazing! Seriously don’t waste your time & money going anywhere else! I’ve personally tried almost all of the braiding salons in the Salt Lake City area & none compare to Yunia’s skill. She is fast but still takes the time to do it right so the braids stay in & your hair doesn’t get damaged. She is super accommodating also! She even came in on her day off to braid my hair before my vacation! I’ll never go anywhere else to get my hair braided!
