I wanted to wait a while before posting to really give myself time to evaluate my experience emotions aside. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. However… I waited over 2 hours to get my hair done and still ended up leaving with just a wash(poorly) and blow dry( roots were still wet). I understand that we all have to wait our turn but seeing how it was my first time in i really should’ve been taken care of first and not pushed to the back of the line. My appointment was 3:30 i left at 6:45 without a finished hairstyle. I would strongly encourage that if your not a regular, do right by yourself and find somewhere else to get your hair done. This was just a snippet of my overall experience.

I took my daughter to get her hair done for the first time. Box braids. We waited over 3 hrs, we actually left went and eat and came back and we had an appt and she didn’t have the hair. She had to leave and go get the hair. In the middle Of doing her hair she stops and does eye lashes for the lady that works there that could have waited. And was back in forth between the other person hair that didn’t have an appt. Either way. We didn’t leave til after 6 or 7 that night. We was there for over 6 or 7 hrs. Then the braid was so tight. That my daughter’s head was red and in pain a week later so idk if it was to tight or the 6 chemicals she put in her hair. Wasted 100 bucks we took them out a week later and I erased her numbers and do not recommend anyone going.

I went to the shop for the first time and I was very afraid as I wanted to cut my hair. The last time that I cut my hair was a bad experience but this time it was an AWESOME experience. Ms. Brenda did my relaxer, cut, and style (bob cut) within a reasonable time and price was great. While cutting my hair she was honest and let me know that I was making the right decision as I had a lot of split ends, breakage and damaged/dead hair (the reason it was not growing). Her knowledge and tips that she has provided to me has me on a journey to healthier hair. Definitely recommend and she is very friendly and the atmosphere was calm not like most salons. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! I will be back very soon.
