I got a terrible haircut and hair dye service from Eazy Cuts in Temecula, Ca located at the mall on August 06, 2022 around 11:00am. During my service the hairstylist used a dirty towel to dry my hair. He also got hair dye on my dress. I was in shock and frozen because I couldn’t believe what was happening. I wanted it to be over. As soon as he finished I paid him and went home. I realized my hair was extremely uneven and I did not get a balayage like I asked him. I also showed him a picture so he can guide himself. My cut looked nothing like the picture. I approached the hairstylist named Christopher the next day on August 7, 2022 around 3:00 pm. I kindly asked him for a refund or discount because I was not satisfied with my haircut or hair dye. He defensively claimed my hair was already messed up (which it was not), and said he would not give me a refund with a rude tone of voice. Of course I was upset so told him I was going to complain and he said he didn’t care. He also rudely yelled to get out of his store and he locked his store right away with the iron gate upon my exit. Now that I think of it I don’t think I saw a CA Cosmetology license on his wall so I suspect he is not licensed to charge people for hair services. I filed a report with the mall security and they said they would inform the mall manager. They also said they will give Christopher a citation. I need to know if he is licensed and if not I want a full refund. I went in as a trusting paying customer and wanted to resolve this nicely but the man was extremely rude.
