I have had the best haircut ever in my decades of getting my hair cut here at Eau Clair (which includes getting it cut in Boston). Ashly is very talented with both cut and color, I highly recommend her. Right now they are very careful with their business process to eliminate risk from COVID. For example, I sat out on their front patio while my color processed, which gave me a break from wearing my mask. I am in the high risk category and would not have kept my appointment if I felt it unsafe. I was totally comfortable.

Overall I had a good experience, it was a friendly environment and I am happy with my new color. However, I do have a concern that made me feel compelled to write this review. While paying I noticed the price was significantly higher than previously quoted. They assured me the price was right and the quote can change after the services depending on products used etc. I had to ask again to explain and itemize the price. That is when they realized the mistake. They charged me for a full haircut and I only had my bangs trimmed. I understand it was an accident and there was no harm done. My concern is I know a lot of people who would have gone ahead and paid the extra money to avoid conflict. Especially because I had to ask twice.
