And though I’ve not used the other stylists’ services, they go out of their way to make me feel welcome at each appointment. They are professional, dedicated, and incredibly skilled. I’ve been going to this salon for 5 years now and am obsessed. Käri knows my hair better than I do! She is a proper hair ninja; I know to expect a bevy of compliments after she works her magic. And though I’ve not used the other stylists’ services, they go out of their way to make me feel welcome at each appointment. They are professional, dedicated, and incredibly skilled. I went to see her last year to throw some color in my hair and get it cut (it had been over 1.5 years since I saw my last hair stylist!!) She never made me feel bad about my time away and had some great advice. Since my first appointment I have been back multiple times and will continue to see her! This past weekend she colored my hair with some vibrant colors and she killed it!! I feel so proud to show off her work. She truly listened to everything I said, but I also gave her free reign as she is the expert and would know what would work best! The vibe is laid back but professional and the space is clean and inviting. They take all the covid precautions seriously and go above and beyond. Käri is freaking awesome!! I went to see her last year to throw some color in my hair and get it cut (it had been over 1.5 years since I saw my last hair stylist!!) She never made me feel bad about my time away and had some great advice. Since my first appointment I have been back multiple times and will continue to see her! LOVE Earth Head Salon. I’ve been going there for years now and Rashelle has taken my hair from dry and damaged to healthy and shiny. I love their mission and focus on overall reducing their carbon carbon footprint. It is so refreshing to walk into a salon that has a heart and prioritizes their clients and the environment. If you are new to the area like I was, or looking for a change there is no better place to go in NWA!

Critical: Quality, ValueI will never go to this hair salon again and recommend staying away from it unless you want to pay $400 for a basic hair cut and one basic color! I was extremely excited to get some fun color in my hair after being in quarentine so long. Before starting the process I spoke with the stylist about the length of the process and was quoted about 3hrs. She charges per hour so this MATTERS. Showed her pictures and discussed options. $70 an hour is A LOT! I budgeted for a specific time frame. I have medium length hair and chose one color. She convinced me that colored highlights might be a better and faster option if I did not want to keep returning every 6 weeks so I agreed. After the entire process of bleaching my hair and seeing the highlights, I was not happy with it. They were spaced apart so far it was going to look like I had stripes of color in my hair which is not at all what I wanted or asked for or showed her pictures of. When getting highlights, one expects them to generally be more blended into the hair. I had no choice to ask her to do more because I was really uncomfortable with the way it was going to look. The process took 5 hours and as much as the stylist was kind and welcoming during the process I did not expect her to charge me for fixing the look I had initially asked for. When she asked for payment she told me the price and I immediately had an anxiety attack. I felt completely overwhelmed and on the spot and being a non confrontational person did not want to make a scene or offend anyone so I paid and got out and when I got to the car I immediately started crying. I left feeling completely taken advantage of and when I contacted her later after trying to calm down she refused to help or refund any of the payment besides the tip. I’ve worked in customer service my entire life and I feel completely robbed. As a consumer if you receive something you did not ask for why would you be charged for it. I can’t even enjoy my hair and have been sick about it for days. What was supposed to be a nice day out for a mother who NEVER has time or energy to do things for herself turned into an absolutely devastating experience. This amount of money may be disposable to others but was NOT to our family during this pandemic. If you read the reply, my hair is not long and after going home and looking at my hair and underneath, the entire middle of my hair in the back isn’t even dyed, just the bottom and I did not “redirect” the style I wanted my hair. The stylist did spaced apart highlights which wasn’t at all what I asked for and left the majority of my hair my natural color.
