Needed to find new hair cutter after long-time shop closed abruptly. Had walked by this place dozens of times since they opened but never had a reason to go in. Went out of my normal route home from my downtown NR office just before 7:30 pm simply to check on operating hours, intending to make appointment for next day. There were people in there, someone was finishing up cutting a young boy’s hair, but clearly they were getting ready to close. I was greeting warmly by Vinny the moment I walked in. Asked what time they open; he said I can take you right now. I said you obviously are closing. He said no problem, happy to take you right now. And he did.

E. M. Barbers is the best shop in New Rochelle. It starts with the atmosphere and welcoming feeling that Vinny and Edwin create, and it ends with the amazing haircuts you walk out the door with. I have received multiple haircuts from both, Vinny and Edwin, and I have never been disappointed. I strongly recommend E.M Barbers if in need of a haircut or any of the other additional services they offer.
