Found them on IG and decided to take a chance. Honestly, for young women I am impressed with their work ethic. Kia did my faux locs, they are not heavy at all and they do not hurt. The work is far beyond what I expected and VERY well priced. Definitely recommend her or any of her girls. I watched them do some fellow clients’ hair and it was again very impressive.

Tried out dynamic braiding for the first time. It was peaceful, not loud. Some chatter but I felt comfortable. My stylist kept in touch with me before my appointment. She even asked did I need to stretch during the process…in all the times I’ve had my hair braided, I’ve never been asked did I need a break. Best part, 3.5 hrs later my hair was done and I loved it!!!

Hope is truly a diamond in the ruff. I was referred to her by a friend and I was a bit nervous because her prices seemed to good to be true. Not only was her work out of this world but it was top quality work. She did some medium box length braids and her estimate time of completion was right on track. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a protective style but wants to look and feel fabulous. Thanks again Hope and the view she provided was sensational.

Daisy did box braids on my hair, and she did an amazing job! My hair looks great, and I love it so much. Daisy is really sweet and she works fast considering I have really thick hair. If you go here you definitely won’t be disappointed, and I will definitely be returning!

A stylist by the name Hope did my long box braids and I am very satisfied, not only was she very professional but she also provided outstanding customer service. I booked an appointment for small box braids with Daisy. My initial interaction with her for a confirmation and answering any questions I had was professional. However, the day before my appointment, she asked if I could come on Saturday instead (my appointment was on a Friday). I told her that I couldn’t come on Saturday because I had other obligations and she said she could still do Friday but it would have to be an afternoon. I suggested 3:00 and we agreed (I later realized she said 3:30 instead). An hour before my scheduled appointment time, she texts me and TELLS me to come at 4 instead. I was already on the train from DC and I let her know that and she said she would meet me at the shop. When I arrived, I could tell as soon as I walked in the door that she had an attitude. She started on my hair and soon after she told the other stylists (not me), that she was going next door to get food. She comes back and does my hair for a few minutes. When her food is delivered, she stops doing my hair, without saying anything, and goes to sit down and eat. The rest of the appointment was horrible and I felt so uncomfortable. She continuously stopped to talk, go get drinks from next door, played with another stylists child, and texted the WHOLE time. It took her almost 7 hours to do my box braids. I’ve gotten my hair braided and done in many salons and this was by far my worst experience. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I actually like my hair.
