Chelsea is a true artist. Myself or my family will not go to anyone in town but her. I came in for a long over due hair makeover with extremely damaged, dry, and frizzy hair. I trusted her to do whatever she thought would be best for my hair that was still cute and stylish. I was so happy with my results I was in tears! I am not one to leave negative reviews but after my experience here I felt the need to. I’ll preface this by saying I have been here before to get my hair cut and had a great experience the first time so maybe the stylist was having a bad day or an off day. Nonetheless, I came in to get my hair thinned and right away when I walked in it was not a very welcoming environment. Before I sat in the chair I asked if I could set my coat on one of the empty chairs. The stylist told me that there was hooks (which I hadn’t seen so that was my mistake) but she said it very rudely. Then when I went to sit down there was already hair on the seat but I didn’t feel like mentioning it since I hadn’t received a friendly welcome into the salon. While she was thinning out my hair she didn’t speak to me once or try to make conversation, which is fine that’s her prerogative, I had just never had an experience in a salon where the stylist just doesn’t talk to you at all and because the atmosphere and vibe wasn’t welcoming up to this point, I didn’t feel like she wanted me to talk either. Overall, I just feel disappointed because I enjoyed my previous visit the year or so I had gone before.
