I have NEVER been so disrespectfully treated in any nail salon than I was at D&Y today. I went there with a gift certificate from my birthday for a mani, pedi and 10-minute massage. I wanted to do a dip powder manicure and explained that I would pay for that extra charge.

I got bad and unsatisfied experience here for my first time. The manicurist is in the rush and don’t file my nails even. They don’t consider if u like it or not, what matter as long as they finish it. And she’s being rude for not even say sorry after she cut my skin and make it bleed. I needed a go to nail salon. They are it! I always feel welcomed. They are open 7 days a week wish is a plus and have a truly kind and accommodating staff. They are also extremely reasonable in their prices. Some of the cheapest I have ever seen for New York and then they even match it with specials. 5 stars for sure!

Critical: ProfessionalismI went to get my nails done a week ago and my acrylics are already falling off. When I went to get them done and the acrylics were glued to my nails, the lady had asked me what length I wanted. As I started to point and show her with my finger how long I wanted them, she told me they couldn’t be too long because it would take too long. She then cut them without waiting for me to say something. I was so confused and upset but I couldn’t do anything about it since they were already glued to my nails. I spent $45 on super short nude-colored nails and I am NOT satisfied at all. If I had known the lady didn’t want to use her time to do my nails, I would’ve just went to CVS and bought $12 nails myself. My first time going and they were very kind and had good service. They have a large selection of nail polish gel and regular. You can tell they like what they’re doing and I plan on going back again.
