If you are looking for a skilled stylist to cut your hair you have to see Rob at Duncan Edwards. I moved to Madison from NYC and was very worried about finding a great cut. Eventually, I found Rob and my worries vanished. This guy is talented and super cool. The great thing about Rob is that he stays current with all the styles and trends. He knows what new styles are out there and if you feel like trying something new will make great recommendations. He is great with woman’s styles as well ( I know because he cuts my wife’s hair). Rob has been cutting my hair for 8 years and that’s probably the biggest endorsement I can give!

He is the first professional to explain the quirks about my hair to me and how he accommodates them for a great style. In other words, he’s got the skill as well as the artistry. Duncan Edwards is a fantastic salon! The appointment was very easy to make and the woman at the front desk was very friendly when I arrived! I booked with Chloe for a balayage touch up and trim and it turned out amazing! She made sure I knew exactly what she was planning to do with it and made friendly conversation the whole time all while making sure I was comfortable! My hair turned out amazing as well, I’ve had my hair highlighted and balayaged a few times previously but this was by far the best one i’ve had! Will definitely be going back in the future!

i’ve been to many hair salons in town, and all ended in disappointment. this time was different. after 4 years away from hair salons, i decided to try Duncan Edward based on reviews. i went in for partial silver hair color. and this was my first time having my hair dyed. i’ve dark chestnut hair, which took time to bleach but i loved how it turned out. it was exactly what i wanted. Casey was exceptionally friendly and easygoing, and made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed the conversation and professionalism. He thanked me for coming both in the beginning and at the end. the salon itself is beautiful and clean. it has a charming vibe. the staff is welcoming. i got compliments from different staff members. they served coffee multiple times. i also got a discount coupon with chocolate at the end of the session. i truly loved the whole experience. thank you for the excellent work and chatting Casey!

I can’t even share my experience because about two weeks ago I was looking for a salon. I had remembered hearing about Duncan Edward salon. I called chatted with the receptionist for about 5/6 minutes and she got me in with a cancellation with katlin. My appointment was for 8 am. I normally don’t make appointments that early, and I was driving from about 30 minutes away. I woke up early excited for my appointment drove all the way there to find out not ONLY WAS I NOT ON THE SCHEDULE FOR THAT TIME, BUT NOT ON IT AT ALL!!!! The stylist who it wasn’t her fault was absolutely no help and offered nothing but I’m sorry. What a unprofessional, let down. I am literally fuming. I was so excited wasted the gas for nothing. I would give 0 stars if I could. Update I was not offered another appt. I was asked if there was anything she could do? Not I can get you in in 5 or 10 min. There were no other stylist there. So I was not going to be serviced anytime soon. So that is why I declined, after waiting 2 weeks and driving 30 minutes one way, I wasn’t driving home and coming back! I called in with the first thing out of my mouth was I am looking for a new salon, aka a new client…also gave MY PHONE NUMBER! Matter a fact the girl who booked my appointment and chatted with me about finding a new salon mentioned her father was the owner..Do better!!!!

It was honestly the best cut & highlight I’ve gotten anywhere, I was so impressed and so happy with it. They were so professional and friendly. Aaron was amazing I highly recommend!
